Comparison lap of F2004 Ferrari at the hands of Michael Schumacher and MCL38 McLaren at the hands of Lando Norris.
On straights without DRS the F2004 V10 destroys the 2024 McLaren as shown in the video where the F2004 despite with Traction Control and non-flatout take is reaching higher speeds approaching next corners, however in the corners obviously the monster big 2024 cars producing high downforce levels destroy the nimble almost go-kart like 2004 F1 car.
Nimble they were both in scale and logically in weight as the positives of the 2004, the regulations meant qualifying with race fuel but even so they were around 150kg lighter than the 2024 cars.
Grooves vs Slicks is another mater which produces higher top speeds but slower cornering while the other is the opposite.

Imagine F2004 with no grooves tyres and DRS. Both technologies could be used that time but not allowed.
