AjR is in a class by themselves. I tell my coworkers that I can't stay what style they are, I just play it for them. Most end up listening to them. My 20 yr got us listening to them years ago, they are in my Playlist for work and car rides. I must say they put on some amazing concerts too!!!

AJR definitely has a signature sound to their music. Very whimsical and experimental. I like that they don’t care, and they’re proud it.

AJR have their own style. They're a mood. They are soooo relatable. They are story tellers and they are amazing just the way they are. Please don't ever change guys ❣️♥️ You do what makes you happy and your fans will follow.

They’re not the only group to do this. Arcade Fire, even the Beatles are examples of successful bands that change things up or down mid song. The Kardashians latching onto your music however, now that’s a problem.

To be honest ajrs music although there is beat switches in songs like maybe man and steves going to London but as I listen to them more I start to enjoy those parts

As someone who doesn’t listen to bands until AJR, everyone’s music ALWAYS sounds the same. It’s always the same melodies being use with a little (and I do mean little) twist. Not all of their music works for me (I hated all of the click but two songs) but THATS WHY I LOVE THEM😂 there’s always something being experimented with. It is so refreshing to find a band that still uses live instruments in their music (such as strings, orchestra ect).
