It should be easier to get approved since you have the Post Office job, those are practically bullet proof. Landlords love them.

I've been to that Wholefoods and I loved taking the skyrail to Roosevelt Island. I'm sorry your apartment plans fell through. 😢 Hopefully you might get another tiny apartment. 😊 Sending you good vibes for whatever decision you make ❤

Unless you see a future living in NYC consider leaving. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Are you going to be better off in NYC or somewhere less expensive (there are lots of options including another metropolitan area). Can you see yourself getting ahead or always having a small apartment with roommates? Are you saving money or living paycheck to paycheck? Tough questions but now is a great opportunity to make your life better for yourself. Sorry but you need to think about what you want and what you need for your future.

You live in midtown now? How do you like it compared to EV? Moved to NYC in 2017 too.
  • Alex! YAY! What kind of toothpaste were you using? I’ve never seen a black toothpaste?
