If you give the oilers a powerplay, might as well just ask the ref to take 2 minutes off the clock and add a goal for the oilers. Unbelievable how good that formation is

Thank you NHL for removing the persistent crowd noise
  • @moemanncann895
That was no canned, piped in crowd noise on the first Oilers goal. The crescendo sent goosebumps up my spine,Crowd knew how important the first one was

The LA Kings have completed the trifecta. In 2022, they lost to EDM in 7, then in 2023 they lost in 6, and now they just lost in 5.

Kings playing in The Era McDavid and Draisaitl has been really rough for them in the playoffs. They got thier number and its not changing for the foreseeable future.

Fortunately the handshake line was posted before the highlights

Edmonton needs to change their name from Oilers to Kingslayers

Oilers reminds me the Chicago Bulls with Jordan(Mcdaivd), Pippen(Draisaitl), Rodman(Hyman). I hope they could bring the Stanley Cup home.

This is what you should expect from a team that pays big money to their “core” players. You expect big results and the Oilers showed that. Hopefully another ‘core 4’ team can learn from this

Kings played hard, they don’t have the talent the Oilers have.

Kings had a good season. Oilers just at another level right now. Too much firepower. Avs vs. Oilers..we could some more 7-6 games!

Go Oilers Go. Great win over LA Kings, and now Edmonton Oilers is in Round 2. Fan of Edmonton🇨🇦 Oilers and Ottawa🇨🇦 Senators. Will watch Edmonton Oilers vs Vancouver or Nashville and will rewatch old games of Ottawa vs Vancouver or Nashville too.

The Kings can't get a good break. It's like every year that they're in the playoffs, Edmonton just has to swoop in and go for the jugular.
  • Rangers fan here, I feel the oilers could struggle in the second round against the canucks because most of there goals they scored in the series were on the power play, BUT if they can play great defense like in game 4 they could

Oilers vs Canucks next round... western Canada would be an Inferno! Both fan bases have TOO much Pride in thier Teams😂😂

McDavid & Draisaitl working the PP is just so entertaining and awe inspiring. Two of the absolute best in the world somehow manage to find yet another level when the playoffs roll around. Same can be said about MacKinnon and Rantanen. Although not quite as artful, they too reach way down deep and somehow become even better in the postseason. Then you have Toronto's "Core Four," whose games become less productive when it matters most. Playing a decent defensive team like Boston is no excuse, especially when you compare that challenge with playing Los Angeles or Winnipeg. Toronto will never win the Cup with those four taking up so much of its cap space. But even if they were paid less, they just aren't the types of players who can lead a team to glory. When a decent regular season guy like Brad Marchand becomes a more elite player in the playoffs than any of those four, you know you have a big problem. I'd dying to see Edmonton play Colorado in the Western Conference finals with both teams' top players firing on all cylinders. It'd be like watching a Western Conf. matchup from the 1980's all over again.

That glove “almost save” by Rittich! 😮

Edmonton v. Vancouver, Dallas v. Colorado would be an epic western showdown
