Relaxer Update: 2024 make it right, 2023 what went wrong

I recently had a set back because my stylist was no listening to me. She has tried products on my hair that don't mesh well on my relaxed hair. And also kept choosing not to relax the font part of my hair because she felt like it did not need it. Well because of the 2 different textures I had breakage on the area. I tried to hard to make it smooth so it meshed well with my relaxed hair. if she just would have relaxed it I would not have had that problem. Needless to say after all these years I may need to find a new stylist.

Your hair is gorgeous! I am thinking about going back to relaxers. The one thing, I feel like braids are very damaging to relaxed hair if your hair is bone straight. The type of hair that is used for extensions suck out the moisture and damages the hair. Please keep doing relaxed hair videos!❤❤

Thank you for your video 🙏🌸. I think the fact that the top of your hair is still regrowing from the hair loss at the top, that’s why it appears shorter at the back and results in the fishtail. When the top section catches up, I think you won’t have the fishtail problem. Your hair looks lovely 😍.

Dryness and breakage seem to be the order of my hair days. I keep trying and incorporating new things and it work for a while and then go back to where it was.
