I have realized why I like this guy so much, it's because he doesn't do it by a script or to "appeal" to the audience, he's just out here, enjoying food and sharing his moments with us and you know what, I can rock with it :D
-
I just wanna say â I love this showâ I showed my dad this show and weâve both binge watched it. My dad is 56 and never wanted to try food out of his comfort zone. After watching this he gives everything a try. Thank you sonny! If it wasnât for you he wouldâve never did that.

Mexican nutrition warnings are so dope. "Excess calories" - to the point, direct and simple. I like it. đ
-
Fun fact, All snack manufacturers were recently banned from adding any kind of cartoon character/mascot to any snack or candy packaging as a means to combat obesity and children being drawn to snacks in Mexico
-
Iâm glad you picked up a Gansito, thatâs a must have Mexican snack. Stick them in the freezer for an amazing crunch đ„

as someone who visits family frequently in mexico, i've never really gotten the chance to explore an oxxo or even seen a 7 eleven where we're from :o i usually just go to the corner store for my snacks lol. also never seen someone who didn't like gansitos, they are very sweet but i still like to eat them from time to time, espeically cold :D
-
Sonny's attempts at Spanish are the best! đ
-
That Barritas is my kinda treat.
-
I like the warnings on the packages! Snacks around the world should have that
-
no tengo un ingles tan avanzado, pero entiendo lo que el tipo dice, y es la primera vez que escucho a un estadounidense expresarse de una manera completamente honesta de mexico. que agradable
-
Who is seeing the irony here? Sonny telling us about Noom and then eating foods with excessive calories, fat, and sodium. đ
-
I was screaming âNoooooâ when he skipped the pineapple barritos! Those are the best ones!
-
I love how it says "TOO MUCH CALLORIES !"... imagine someone on a diet wanting to check out the calorie content to calculate if it will fit in their daily intake and it just says TOO MUCH!
-
When he picked up the Gansito a childish part of me got happy for him to try it. Love the work as always, Sonny.

Almost every single one of those packaged snack cakes you got are widely available in Texas convenient stores where I live in Austin. Pinguinos, Pina Choco Roll, Gansito, Barritas fresa and Pina are as common as Hostess
-
My fave mexican snack are those pinwheels. I've always called them mexican funions, they're great with lime and chile.
-
Btw in Mexico companies are now forced to put the excess calories signs as a way to let people know that what they are eating is not healthy. Itâs being done in hopes of people choosing better options for their health.
-
We actually started getting some of those snack cakes where I live (Bible Belt in the US). Fun Mexico snack fact - The Nacho-flavor Doritos in Mexico actually taste better than in the US, they taste like nacho cheese instead of just straight cheese. It's definitely a place worth visiting.

Pinguinos, gansitos, Choco roles, baristas. Are all snacks you can get in the united states in latin Super markets and in normal markets in the "Latin" section
