Person Description
Kathleen Kennedy (born June 5, 1953) is an American film producer who has been president of Lucasfilm since 2012.
In 1981, Kennedy co-founded the production company Amblin Entertainment with Steven Spielberg and her eventual husband Frank Marshall. Her first film as a producer was E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982). A decade later, again with Spielberg, she produced the Jurassic Park franchise, the first two of which became two of the top ten highest-grossing films of the 1990s. In 1992, she and Marshall founded The Kennedy/Marshall Company. In 2012, Kennedy became the president of Lucasfilm after The Walt Disney Company acquired the company.
As Lucasfilm's president, Kennedy has overseen the development, production, and release of projects such as the Star Wars sequel trilogy (2015–2019), the Star Wars standalone films Rogue One (2016) and Solo (2018), and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023). She has also produced various Star Wars series for Disney+ including The Mandalorian (2019–present), The Book of Boba Fett (2021), Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022), and Andor (2022–present).
Kennedy has produced Spielberg-directed films which have earned over $11 billion worldwide, including five of the fifty highest-grossing movies in film history. As a producer, she has received eight Best Picture Academy Award nominations (That are completely underserved).

KK "hates racists and sexists" and claims to promotes inclusivity, but doesn't include white men. KK "hates bigotry" but attacks fans by false flagging them as racists and sexists. KK seems like a well written villain, props to the author who wrote her whoever you are! 😂

I cannot emphasise enough how much I despise this woman. One instance of screwing up a project might be considered incompetence, but she has spent over a decade actively destroying Star Wars while she disingenuously baits and then attacks fans before playing dumb. That is malicious on an apocalyptic scale.

Another reason you forgot to mention as to why Disney Lucasfilm grandstanding Star Wars fans on not being racist towards Moses Ingram is completely insincere and hypocritical is because Disney themselves literally shrank John Boyega’s character on the film poster for China, as well reducing John Boyega’s character as being a token black guy, and John Boyega himself calling out Disney Lucasfilm for how dirty they did his character and they made him a token black guy, and how after working on the sequel trilogy he has no plans on returning as Finn in the future

One correction: Kennedy actually became president of Lucasfilm several months BEFORE Lucasfilm was sold to Disney.

She's incredibly fortunate. A secretary turned studio head. For 10 years, she has flushed a $4 billion franchise down the toilet and is still employed. Film and business schools should study Kathleen Kennedy.
