Attending New York University was a very interesting college experience since it is right smack in the middle of NYC, and with that comes several pros and cons. Let me know down in the comments below if you think such an education experience is worth the price tag.

Also, for those who are thinking of going for their MBA, check out www.gmatknight.com/ for GMAT tutoring. They have awesome feedback from students so check it out for yourself :)
  • Be it Aswath Damodaran's Corporate Finance or Scott Galloway's Marketing NYU has such great faculties. Always admired the unmatched quality of NYU Stern as the best in finance. It was my dream school. Next video can about Student debt🙏🏻
  • I know education is a business; but, NYU needs to have exit interviews, before graduation. I had no direction when I graduated. Granted it was partly my fault. I was only 22 with limited parental support; so, I was on my own. When NYU Alumni called for donations they tried to give me a guilt trip, they asked me if I got a good education. I said yes; but what good is an education without job? I had to go back to another school four more years after taking off one year. It was a long journey but I am still fighting.

Hey Angela! I really enjoy watching your videos. Just wondering what kinds of statistical methods you use in investment banking/financial modelling?

Hi Angela, thank you so much for making this video! I'm a rising senior in high school who's looking to apply to NYU Stern ED this fall. I'm interested in business but I also have a passion for STEM. The reason I considered NYU was because I saw that you could choose different concentrations to specialize in. After reading their descriptions on the website, I was drawn to econometrics and quantitative econ. I was wondering if you could recommend other concentrations that would fit someone with a strong STEM background. Thanks!
  • Hey Angela, do you mind making a video talking about how to deal with bullying at work? I recently had some horrible experience being bullied at work. One example was my previous (yes, previous, because I left) supervisor had unreasonable deadlines for my projects and set me up for failure... at one point, she even did gaslighting and it was just insane...she came from big four. I started to make some serious mistakes and had breakdowns every day and eventually I left. Anyway, I know it is not a pleasant topic but just wonder if you can share some thoughts on this topic.

Hey Angela, I am a rising sophmore in College, class of 2024, and I was looking around at internships for banks such as Jp Morgan and Bank of America and all of the intern roles I saw had a requirement of graduating in 2022 or 2023. Were you able to get an internship as a sophmore or freshmen in college? I really want to get hands on experience in finance early on but I just can't find much

Hello! I was admitted to Stern ‘25 and will soon be registering for classes. I dont have an advisor or anything yet so I was wondering how difficult was it to double concentration? As of right now I’m majoring in finance but am looking for what to double major or minor in.

It’s unbelievable how it differs from country to country. I’m studying in Germany and the tuition is non-existent but the education pretty good and it’s possible to get great jobs. I don’t think that it would be worth it to pay 300k for a better brand
  • Hey I just finished my freshman year at Stern and I’m really nervous about landing an internship for next summer. I know many kids that just finished their sophomore year at stern and haven’t found any opportunities. As an alumni of the same school are there any specific tips that you could offer that helped you find an internship and eventually an offer to work somewhere? Thanks and I love the content!

What do you think about dorming versus commuting? If i commute, I will have an hour commute from jackson heights
  • I am looking progress my career and I am into MBA programs (2 years of marketing experience at small CPG in NJ) and I live in NJ about 1 hour commute to NYU. I graduated from Rutgers Business School summa cum laude & I feel like I could get into NYU stern but I am nervous about the cost… even just the MBA program is $170K, compared to Rutgers in-state $50K… I know the prestige at Rutgers is less but there are still lots of opportunities here as well, I am struggling 😭
  • Hi I got into Columbia GS as a transfer. After getting $20,600 scholarships from Columbia, I will still need to take out a loan of $120k to oay for tuition to get ny bachelor’s degree in economics. I live in NYC so I am only worrying abiut the tuition. I can not decide if the $120k lon worth it. Your opinion on that will be appreciated! Thank you!

Hello Angela I’m an incoming freshmen at Georgetown . Will this hinder me in the job recruiting process for finance since it’s not located in nyc ?
  • @skylakestudio
Hey Angela, this is sort of a random question but are your concentrations listed on your diploma or does it just say Bachelor of Science in Business? And also if you know, do minors get listed on your diploma as well?
  • Hey Angela, as an Irish person I am practically sure I will study in Ireland for my degree but would love to go into Investment Banking, do you believe that you need to study in a big city like NY, London or Hong Kong to get into that field?
  • @yeonjookim2436
hello! great video ;D i was wondering if you are an international student? also if you are, what's your view on job prospect of international nyu students majoring in economics (not stern)? do a lot of them end up going back to their countries because of visa or do many people end up in top tier companies?

For non-NYC college students who want to work in NYC, do you recommend doing a phone call for networking or setting up a zoom? Also, do you think it’s worth it to fly to NYC for a week if you’re on the opposite coast for coffee chats to network if you’re a sophomore in college?
