One of nastiest riffs Edward ever wrote...
-
Good lord Eddie sounds criminally good on this one!
-
It took a humble guy without any ego to sing an amazing setlist of songs of every VH era...thanks Gary!!..you rock..!!
-
The mix engineer here deserves a Grammy just for the drums alone. :hand-orange-covering-eyes:

Holy crap Eddie's groove here is on another level. Absolutely ruthless!
-
Mean Streets might be my all time favorite Eddie song. From beat 1 to the last, he rips it up. Amazing guitar work.
-
Gary Cherone was so under appreciated during his short time with Van Halen. Great singer 👍
-
Eddie is just phenomenal, his TONE is exceptional! Wow! He's killing these riffs!
-
What made this tour great was Gary Cherone's ability to perform both Sammy & Dave era VH tunes. These were great shows.
-
I like the power in the guy's voice. When he first said "AT NIGHT I WALK THIS STINKIN STREET" I was like Oh MY GOD this guy can sing.
-
Haven’t seen many vids from the Cherone era, but he fits in nicely. Great singer.
-
Rothy’s lyrics are just Amazing!!! He really is and was a poet who told a story with his songs!!!!!
-
Gary can say he has played with the two best guitar players in the world Eddie and Nino and this is the first time I have seen Gary sing with Van Halen nice job
-
I was lucky to see VH live in 1997. Best concert I've been to, Cherone was a top shelf front man, and EVH was just sublime.
-
This man was the Jimi Hendrix of my generation!!!! I have gotten to see every show since 1977 that this man played when he came to San Francisco RIP EDDIE😢🎸
-
DAMM!!! The mighty Van Halen was on FIRE this night!!Aloha from Hawaii🤙🏽
-
I saw them in Atlanta during this time. Eddie played about as raw as he ever had. He really played with a lot of feeling during that time.
-
This shows how Edward was unique amongst guitarists
-
Imitated but never duplicated No one can play this He's God Lets keep his spirit alive

If you’re a true Van Halen fan you love VHIII for the genius that it is.
