Who are Kara and Nate?!
Watch our documentary here:    • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.

We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)

So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.

Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.

4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!

After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are in our 9TH YEAR of finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)

We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

Whoever is saying y’all are trust fund kids, definitely aren’t OGs here 😂
  • @LoveStallion
Nate, don't dunk on your early videos. They remain your most authentic and interesting and gave you the core fan base that's stuck with you for eight years.
  • @jameshaddan8538
Kara thinking eau de toilette is poo spray - is one of the big signs these two aren’t trust fund kids 😂😂😂 And, Nate, I agree…I absolutely love settling in to a long haul flight and not having connectivity (I purposely won’t connect even if I have it) - it’s the place I can most relax.

Nate at 01:03 : Some commenters think we are "trust fund kids" And Kara debunks this at 10:43 : - I got a free hairbrush in 2015 and I still have it!
  • @Hemmerschmidt
I'd say Nate should take it as a compliment that people are saying you two are trust fund kids. It shows that he's been playing the miles and points game very well over the years.

Just something that I think should be noted. If you read the commentary from last week’s running with Russ Cook video, you’ll notice that the Russ fans new to Kara and Nate all focused on two things. 1. How unbelievably supportive Kara is of Nate. 2. How Kara and Nate selflessly focused their show on Russ and not themselves. I wouldn’t expect anything less from these awesome two!!❤

What I really love about you two, after watching for a few years now, is that you're never trying to be people you're not. Kara enunciating French words - priceless! Kara not editing Nate pronouncing canapes in an earlier video- priceless! Keep your feet firmly planted on the ground, and you'll have friends for life.
  • @Taylor-Hanson
@Kara- I love how relatable you are. "2016 me would be freaking out. 2024 me is freaking out". My favorite line in the entire video.

Hi Kara and Nate ~ I live in England – I live in a rehabilitation centre as I suffer with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and lupus. I’m either bedbound or wheelchair bound – I absolutely love your channel and all of its content and I can only dream about the places that you have visited – I haven’t watched this vlog/video yet but I wanted to come in and say hello – thank you for all your hard work and putting up these Vlog/videos– sending loads of love and loads of hugs to you both ~ Xxx Xxx
  • @kellylucas5731
    I love how Nate's watching Oppenheimer n Kara's watching Barbie❤
  • @EminemDisciple1
You don't need to justify your success, mate. You worked for this and you deserve every moment of it. Enjoy.
  • @tanja3611
people who think Kara is born into money haven't heard her try to pronounce eau de toilette yet
  • @jfelipe1987
Kara and Nate are my favorite chill millennials
  • Would recommend watching from the beginning. I’ve gone back and rewatched multiple times. I won’t be traveling the world myself so I love living vicariously lol
  • Gotta admit Kara is growing beautiful by the day and Nate is looking younger than 2 years ago. Stay happy and keep entertaining us.
  • @KevinRiggs
We found you all very early in your journey and we love those old, "unpolished" videos. Kara's sincerity has been huge with our family. Nate's adventure is inspirational. Where Nate defines so much of what you two do, Kara's personality was the key to how you did the travel for all your episodes. Her enthusiasm for the people and the culture, especially the food, has been a hallmark of your videos. It has been fun to see how Nate has opened up more over the last eight years. Love watching you two.

My husband and I have been very blessed to travel using points. What most people don’t understand is how much work my husband had to do to earn all the points. These points were not just handed to him and we think of them as cash. He spends countless hours planning our vacations, sometimes a year in advance to get the plane and/or flight we want. He was so motivated by this video that he’s on his computer right now.
  • Not only have you two earned your current station in life, fortunately, you brought the rest of us along for the ride. Just go back and watch some of their earlier videos. They’re the real deal. Nate’s quest for the ultimate adventure, coupled with Kara’s ability to not only meet, but exceed the challenges, and let’s face it, some of these adventures simply are not for the faint of heart, equals success, American style. Fast forward to 2024 and the questions still remain, what adventure will they embark on next, and where will they caviar next? Stay humble and kind. 🥰💪✌🌠
  • The talent you guys have to be able to make a 27 minute video about flying on an airplane is amazing. I think if I have made this video it would’ve been five minutes long and I was entertaining the entire time. Kudos.
