Did you know going 24 hours without sleep has the same effects as being drunk?

The episode can also be read as a taking care of a drunk friend so they don’t get into trouble story. Sleep deprived Muffin behaves very similarly to a drunk person. Bluey and Bingo represent friends who still want to “stay up late” but Muffin represents someone who has “already had too much”. Bluey and Bingo finally decide to do the right thing and get Muffin to sleep/sobered up. Also Bluey wakes up tired/hung over. And all this before Whale Watching.

Have you heard of Sesame Street Syndrome? It's when little children spontaneously start doing things like repeating the alphabet or numbers with zero provocation. For Muffin, I am going to wager that she got the lines "I am a llama eating a banana" from a show she was watching. Same with the "Coconuts have water in them" since that sounds like she's repeating a fact that she learned on TV. Who knows? Maybe the Blueyverse version of Play School mentioned these sort of things.

The balloon biting is reasonable, since the balloon pieces can fly into a child’s mouth. But honestly, ima just say stripe made sure she skipped a sleep on the sleepover so he didn’t have to deal with this 😅
