Do I Like Videogames Anymore?

Amen brother, finding the fun can become a chore when every game company is fighting for your time and attention. Sometimes it can even feel like a job of sorts to try and get through your backlog of games just brcause theyve been sitting in your library for awhile. You start to serve them instead of them serving you. I find myself doing this alot and its easy with the advent of mindless games that are all too easy to consume instead of having any real buy in. Sometimes you gotta take a step back from the meta popular games and culture, dont think about the backlog of steam games you purchased months back when you beat super monkey ball for 5th time, and instead really be mindful when playing and recognize when/if you are having fun and whether or not you need to take a break from it or move on entirely in search of the fun. And by move on I mean boot up 2025's game of the year SUPER MARIO BROTHERS 2 BAAAAAAABY
