Porsche needs to be applauded for still producing performance cars with a naturally aspirated engine and a manual gearbox.

This is how a professional car review should be done. No need for stupid power slides and timed laps around circuits. Real world driving presented by a man with vast knowledge and humility. Makes TV reviews look infantile. Thanks Harry

This video just sold more GTS's than Porsche's whole advertising budget for the car.

I bought my Boxster S as a lad of 77 almost eight years ago and love it to bits.
  • Darn You Harry! There is now a red GTS 4.0 in my garage, after an almost year long wait. Your review started the process. Grazie!
  • @jenBaker707
I hope they make a LOT of those, so that I have a better chance of getting one in 6 years :)
  • I recently sold my BMW M4 competition for a Cayman S 3.4. The Porsche might be 100BHP less powerful but it's 10x more fun to drive!

I was down, feling sad. And then Mr Harry comes up with a Porsche video! With a Porsche, I know he is going to buy!

Has anyone else headed to the Porsche configurator? Harry has almost convinced me that £70k seems to be good value! Man maths at their best.

Mine is on the way, after waiting 8 months. It is now on a ship on the Atlantic Ocean and will arrive in the USA CA January 15.🐸💃🏼

@6:35... "Not that it really matters..." Take note, Doug DeMuro...

It’s 27 degrees, 17:00, roof open. Everything is good in the world.
    Loved it!
  • @cupidstunt22
I’d buy it for the noise alone.
    What a masterpiece.
    What a car.

Finally, a reviewer that appreciates the effort that has gone into these cars. So many go on about the gearbox, about the engine seeming quieter than the previous gen 6 cylinders - it's always like they are sheep following the herd. Thank you Harry, for always being so enthusiastic and well rounded in your approach.

I totally overlooked the GTS 4.0 all the time, even when I knew it existed. The GT4 and the Spyder have taken the Spotlight of it, but when you see the price and what you get - this car deserves the Spotlight in the real world. Great Review! Great Sound! Great Car! Great Channel!

Sometimes I think harry goes through the motions a little with a car that doesn’t work for him...but there’s no disguising the real love he has on display here.
  • @davidgilbert
You may have just increased the waiting list somewhat? One of your most enthusiastic reviews... enjoyed that a lot - thanks!

I have the 718 Spyder and feel compelled to back Harry up on this.. the gearing, long though it may be, is nowhere near as problematic as most other reviewers make out. The torque more than makes up for it and I manage to use gears 1 through to 4 quite easily on a series of back roads. On the subject of MPG.. I've regularly seen 34 mpg average on A roads.. 718 GTS, GT4/Spyder.. you can't go wrong! Great review!
  • @huskytail
We bought ours (a 2023 model) just recently. Absolutely brilliant machine ❤! I cannot get enough of it. The sound, the drive, even comfort..
  • Absolutely love Harry’s genuine enthusiasm
Straight talking objective reviews, no outrageous silly comments to whip up the so called fans, just great motoring journalism!
