I've had a Luba 2 for about a month now. We've named him Dave and he's now part of the family. My wife was skeptical but has noted that I don't complain about cutting the ***** grass anymore. Win-win.

I bought one, a LUBS 2 AWD 10000. Then, I loved it so much, I bought a SECOND one. Both mowers were EASILY handling my 2.37 acres of land. One was cutting the front portion, while the other one was cutting the rear of the property. It was very easy to program, and once it was done, I turned it loose! I have not mowed my lawn in over a month, but my property looks like a golf course! One mower had a motor failure. MAMMOTION arranged for me to ship the mower to them for repair. They paid for shipping BOTH ways, and for the parts. I only needed to pay for proper PACKING at the UPS store. These mowers are AWESOME!

I have a Luba 2 - 5000 on the way. Thanks for the superb hands-on review and operational comments - SUPER helpful. I was especially interested in the RTX placement requirements since I have both front and rear lawns ( similar to your situation ). Eager to receive and launch my Luba 2! Al lthe best!

I’ve been using Husqvarna Automowers for about 10 years now. My current ones have a total of nearly 50,000 hours on them. They cut rain or shine. The lawns are perfect. The drawback was having wires buried in the lawn which stops hollow tyning and makes me nervous when scarifying but they now make a wire free system so…. The other thing to bear in mind is that parts for these things are horrendously expensive particularly batteries. My first machine ran for 5 years on the original batteries but it cost me £550 to put new ones in when I screwed up and stored it over winter without charging. I watched this and was amazed at the long grass that seemed to escape being cut when it moved on.

I like the longer clips from everybody’s channel. When did everybody think they had to turn in to Martin’s Corsair? I don’t need a bunch of bells and whistles..

At 10:43 Correction, those are not rain sensors, they a ultra-sonic sensors, part of obstacle avoidance. The rain sensor is on top near-middle of the mower consisting of two stainless steal rounded pins in a slight depression. They work as you describe.

Thank you for this information. I would like to know how the robot behaves with a reduced GPS signal under the cover of large trees?
  • I have a tree covered area, will it be able to navigate in and around the trees? These are citrus trees, so there can be a lot of various citrus on the ground. Will it mow over these (as I typically do) or will it navigate around them automatically?

Can luba replace a lawnmower tractor, or is better to have both? especialy cutting grass with tractor at the start ob season and end of season. Tnx
  • @saldainis55
1:10 Wow, I see how your Luba failed to connect to the charging station the first time 😁
  • @deejay4837
They already have these in use in cities of Japan.

  • @stevenallen1392
