Who would have thought that the director of XIV and the Producer of XVI were so close and now we're getting a crossover of the two games. It's a shame we've never seen them in the same room together though, they have a lot in common.

I think the thing I love most is Ifrit's role in a lot of FF is the rebel of fate, he is often like in 15 punished in some way for rebeling against what he should be doing. It's why i think they make him an early summon so often. To have him aid the WoL in rebelling against a "fate" some greater being is trying to force upon them. Knowing 16s story it's just that much more fitting that our boy makes a return in the one being determined enough to stand against fate completely. Gods FF lore is so good.

This song goes hard while riding Torgal throughout Eorzea in FFXIV. Really gives you the sense you're on a mission to save the world.

I feel like "Torn from the Heavens" will always be a part of the main character themes in Soken scored games. And I'm okay with that.

Loved the FFXIV x FFXVI event. Especially the Event Ifrit fight. The Retaliation Mechanic should be a part of the main combat system, would spice up the combat IMO. Also Torgal is now my main mount, just because of this song.

For me, this is the best song in the game. The fact that it only plays in this critical moment of the story makes it all the more special.
