Those two can fight for that "Ugh-glee" guitar all they want. Poor trees that had to be cut up into those monstrosities. Ugh-glee was used for emphasis.

If every manufacturer totally stopped making guitars today there would be enough of them out there in the world to last for the next 50 years.
  • PRS could put out their own version of this guitar and call it the Ted Pineapple.

Fighting? Over that? Why? There's no reason to fight over a soon to be discontinued guitar!

Looks like Gibson copied the tulip design from Teisco
  • @ljmiller96
When I read "Theodore" my mind went to the Chipmunks: Alvin, Simon, and Theodore. The name was kind of dumb but I liked the look of that tulip shaped guitar. It's something new!

I was in the local music store last week, this Gibson was sitting there, I picked it up, it actually felt ok in the hands and played nice, but it's super fugly, I also noticed a fair bit of finish checking on the back of the neck, kinda weird, the checking was coming from the binding but only where the side dots were. I have seen a lot of new Gibsons with finish issues.

Put "Epiphone" on the headstock and price it at $499, and then maybe.
  • Reader's Digest! 😂😂😂 i get that! Lol......ha..... oh no.... I'm old enough to know what that means 😢

So they are fighting over and over priced Tiesco Del Ray Tulip? Maybe Tiesco should sue Gibson. Just sayin'.
  • @picksalot1
What, a moment of sanity in the guitar world?! At least now we can get back to arguing about tonewood. 😂
  • @rohnleidigh213
Dear lord why? They can keep it... It's almost as fugly as musk's cybertruck

I think the McCarty family had a legal right since it’s his name and they used it without permission but now that Gibson lost to Dean recently in a countersuit by Dean and has millions of dollars to keep legal battles in limbo PRS probably decided to back off because of the cost of legal battles….but I also wonder if this was a strategic move by PRS since Gibson has been trying to sue various companies over silly issues. Gibson did use Ted name without permission on a new guitar unlike old guitars they didn’t patent and maybe this was a move to wake up Gibson and show others can play this game. But I may be assuming too much.

Dear gibson, it's a tulip. It looks bloody awful, there's no way I'll be adding it to my collection and I own a Firebird X.

I dont think this guitar is selling very well anyway. I dont like it and no way id pay 2 grand for it either.
  • @DragDealer
