Nice video. Only your background music is little to loud. New sub. :D
  • @mordenohare2550
Dude your background music is way too loud. I enjoyed what I could hear though I look forward to trying the game myself in the future.
  • @DrVenture45
Dude the music! It's a good vid, but I'd have preferred to hear you talk than to hear that. 😂 It was not only repetitive, but nearly at the volume of your voice level. Never again!

I could not really enjoy the game until I unlocked a certain amount of perks as well as level-locked features. My approach now, when starting a new game, is to start a manufacturing outpost that generates XP as well as cash and switch things up with kiosk missions, upgrading my ship, perk challenges as I go about gaining XP, and the smaller quests. I don't touch the more enjoyable quests. I save them for later. When I feel like I've unlocked enough perks, I then play the main quest and then start NG+. I am then free to play more like I want without being locked out of some ability and I also start playing the major quests. I think the 6/10 score is fair.

Seconded: it's a good idea to have NO background music - if your content is engaging enough it's simply not necessary. It doesn't add anything.

Review ruied by background music, only got half way through!

I actually love the gameplay. Going around planets and shooting up pirates is so much fun. It's the world building that was a hard fail IMO. That's what ticks me off so much. It could have been great if they just spent a few months more thinking about the lore and making the world feel real. For example, everything about the Freestar Collective feels off. It's supposed to be a coequal super power to the UAC, but their capital doesn't even have paved roads, and they have a office-park space station on their council of governors. Life supporting planets are in almost every system. A resort company purchases an entire planet when the two super powers only have a few each? And why are dead bodies strewn everywhere you go? The story is awful too. What are the odds that in the vastness of the galaxy, every artifact that's not in someone's possession happens to be beneath a base full of thugs? Thugs who don't even seem to notice it's there? Then when you finally put all the pieces together, nothing is explained. It's one of those games that could have been great if they just gave couple more months to development. Instead its a huge mountain of wasted potential. Like a gourmet dinner with a dead rat in it.

I made Sigouney Weaver from the alien franchise as my character.

i agree with u with the reward stuff... the best bethesda engine reward system in my opinion is enderal - a fan based game based on skyrim engine... every time you faced enemies in a dungeon or i dunnow in the open, you get loot that you cant buy or craft.. and the stronger the enemies, the better the loot... the diversity in effects and stuff was huge... every gear complementing another playstyle... the legendary effects in starfield are often meh.... fallout 4 had some crazy legendary effects like slowing down time, or freeze enemies when doing cricital shots... there also some cool effects in starfield, but explosive bullets are not so strong... the ammo that says something like "tesl pylons" is not great... meh ^^ you can definetly have fun in starfield, if you give it a chance... but the thing is you really "need to want to give it a chance" because alot of stuff is so different than fallout 4... i have a friend who never played any fallout and now i can understand why it is too much for him i still have issues with some things (areas feel sometimes too limited, small, german lipsync is out of place, face animations are ugly (prefer FO4 faces honestly), bse building is meh (but there are AMAZING MODS ALREADY WICH GIVE HUNDREDS OF ITEMS AND ROBOTS AND STUFF).... ship builder interiour is too limited, i want a starship that feels inside like a living room... no real faction, no politics, no settler in settlements... quests sometimes lame... thousands of planets but each have the same stuff going on, walking to quest marks is boring and takes forewer... bethesda adding cars is really nice plus rewarding players for higher difficulty with more xp is very nice and there are nice things in this game

Starfield is like one of those cursed photos that gets worse and worse the longer you gaze at it. I played at launch and put about 250 hours into the game, but there's just so many little annoyances about the game, as well as it missing so many features, that I'll probably wait for a few years before playing again.
  • @dylans8793
Lol didnt even wait for the may update, purposely review it right before 😂
  • @DixtunBabyAngel
Omg why that music? It's so distracting from what you're saying :/
  • @wizzle-
Great, real review. Refreshing to see someone without Bethesda Blinders on. Cheers to you and looking for more honest game reviews and looks.

My biggest gripe is that every planet has 1 or 2 Points of interest. This is supposed to be the capital of the Freestar collective, yet it looks like a backwater town that has nowhere near the amount of resources needed to fight an inter-star system war with the more dominant factions. Imagine if each planet was a Skyrim sized map with all the work and effort that map had put into it. Where each planet had their main capital city and then a few settlements dotting the countryside here and there with maybe 1 or 2 smaller cities. But nah...1 city per planet. No real quality to them. You don't spend time in the cities as all your quests tell you to piss off into space and go somewhere else. Loading screen, warp, loading screen. Starfield is just all wasted potential.
  • I couldn't finish it ,i tried lvl 45. Its boring, fetch quests, characters are lame, world is not believed, dont get me started on inventory
