This video is woefully inadequate when there is no mention of 1974's win over #2 Notre Dame; or 1954's win over #1 Seton Hall.

Davton Vs Depaul: I was right underneath the basket photographing the game. Someone stole my negative and prints in the photography dept. cabinet! What an awesome defeat! I believe the Depaul coach at the time was the legendary Ray Meyer.

Pretty sure May was right handed, but his favorite move was to bust across the lane and take a sort of half hook shot (usually after knocking someone out of the way), and he would do that with either hand.  Best rebounder in the history of the school.  I believe he finished second in the nation in rebounding one year, and he was only 6'4" tall.

Nope, May was a lefty. My dad was at the '67 Final Four, where May missed his first shot against North Carolina then hit his next 13. At the half he had something like 6 or 7 in a row, and my dad still tells the story of teasing a Carolina fan by telling him how May was probably getting his ass chewed out by Don Donoher in the locker room because he had missed a shot and Donoher didn't like that. (Anyone remember his Vitalis commercial with the Knicks?)
