Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and Douglas Murray, author of “The War on The West,” discuss how a misguided purpose leads to abject misery, the cowardice of experts who choose silence in the face of malevolence, the psychology of fear, and the necessity of willful exposure to combat it.

Douglas Murray is a British writer, playwright, media correspondent and political commentator. He is the founder of the think tank the Centre for Social Cohesion, which is now part of the Henry Jackson Society. His publications include but are not limited to: “The Strange Death of Europe: Immigration, Identity, Islam (2017),” “The Madness of Crowds: Gender, Race and Identity (2019),” and most recently “The War on the West: How to Prevail in the Age of Unreason (2022)”. Murray has also written columns for publications such as “The Wall Street Journal” and is an associate editor for “The Spectator.”

Dr. Peterson's extensive catalog is available now on DailyWire+: bit.ly/3KrWbS8

My son was severely disabled, non verbal and had cerebral palsy and spastic quadriplegia, he also had the best laugh in the world, an amazing personality and a love for life and music until he took his last breath at 27 years old. I don’t think the value of someone else’s life should be decided by any outside force, and especially not a bunch of corrupt, lying, narcissistic politicians.

The way Douglas Murray talks and carries himself is such a throwback. I feel like I’m watching a 1950s and 1960s intellectual when they’re invited on a talk-show.

Great discussion. Im 70. I was raised by a father who was by definition a quadraplegic due to polio as an infant. He taught me to love God and live each day in gratitude. What a great gift he gave me.

A 55 year old working class fella here who recently discovered and loves listening to these types of conversations. Not just the topics but the eloquence within them . Thanks Jordan, Douglas.

This combination of brains & verbal finesse is something to strive for

I am a sixty six year old Woman. I have been diagnosed with many autoimmune illnesses which are slowly changing my way of life. This has made me realize that if I don't control the things I can control like my diet, I am going to become more miserable as I age. As I moniter what I eat, I have learned that I respect myself more. I have found that I can focus now on feeling more sensations that I hadnt remembered since I was a child. The joy of being in a warm bath or pool. Also, the soft feel of a fluffy blanket or petting a cute animal. Beautiful things and music. If we concentrate on our inner self, our other senses come to the fore and fill in the gaps of what we were used to having. I am growing even though I am elderly. It's an amazing thing. I have had to look after myself since I was a small child and I have experienced some terrible things and I was bitter for years. I have come to the conclusion that it is up to me to help me. If I can be less dependant on the outer World and be more dependant on the inner me I have found that I am on another road of self acceptance. It has been a wonderful experience listening to you both. Thank you.
  • I'm never more focused on every word someone's saying than I am when listening to Douglas. He truly uses language to its fullest potential

I just finished watching the entire Munk Debate between Douglas Murray, Matt Taibbi, Malcolm Gladwell, Michelle Goldberg. Douglas Murray is a beast at debates. Seeing Douglas Murray and Dr. Peterson discuss issues is a privilege. This is the kind of intellectual discussion that society is desperately missing in 2023.
  • @salbonesally
Douglas Murray and Jordan Peterson... the most sensible, decent and admirable two men I can think of letting us in on their conversation - what a privilege!
  • @zoezadeng
We need more people like Douglas Murray in this world. A true gem of a man!
  • In a world full of madness, listening to sane people like you is highly needed
  • @psjasker
Murray epitomizes the best of British civilization and culture. As an Irishman, I find it hard to acknowledge our debt to Britain but let’s face it - high watermark of human development. And our man Murray here embodies it.
  • @aleksandarpavkov
Douglas represents everything I love about British people! Such a character!
  • @JimmyJaxJellyStax
Murray's book War on the West is by far the most thorough and honest discussion about a very real collapse of Western Civilization right now - absolutely mind blowing.
  • @RikkSpencer
We need Douglas to publish a list of essential English literature (politics, history, philosophy, and poetry). Even if it’s only, something like ten books in each category, it could go a long way towards helping people interested in “changing their life” getting started.
  • @sheilaoneil18
Douglas is a great listener as well as speaker. A very patient man.
  • @Sammysgrl22
I love Douglas Murray. He’s a voice of reason in the midst of insanity. I especially enjoy hearing him break down the reality of the nonsense his opponents are spouting. Having these two sit down together is a treat.
