The fact that this is "Cut for Time" makes it even more hilarious.

When Kyle called Jake "Donnie Dorko", that's when I knew that the drugs had really changed him.

“Ok that’s a choice” is gonna be my new go to response

Kyle seriously needs his own show and it needs to be called Cut For Time. It's got to happen.

As soon as I heard Kyle’s patented fake stiff acting, I buckled up for a good time
  • This was very interesting - meta on meta. I'm glad Kyle is still trying these types of pieces. It tells you how much the idea of him being cut for time has stuck, because he has been in a lot of sketches this season, including some big lead roles, but he still knows many will see him as the guy who doesn't get on. My favorite part of this was his talking about buying real drugs and the drug dealers approaching a disturbed Jake.

This is the second sketch that utilized Bad Fight Choreography to actually make the skit funnier. Well done. Also, props for "Donny Dorko".

Directed, Written, Exec. Produced and Starring Kyle Mooney, then in very small print Feat. Michael Che and Jake Gyllenhaal with both their names spelled wrong was my favorite part. Well done!

Kyle is literally the king of terrible acting... which makes his a tremendous actor. Go figure!
  • @Humble_Legend
At this point, the opening credits should just introduce him as Kyle "Cut For Time" Mooney.
  • There is no one like Kyle I have ever seen on SNL. What a wondrous and funny personality. This guy is so creative and angular with his craft...much respect for pushing comedy.

Kyle is so good at bad acting lol

“Drama is harder than comedy. Believe in yourself” - Kyle Mooney

    😂

the really funny part is this skit was cut for time, what a savage burn 🤣😂

Kyle and Beck have a pre-SNL video where Kyle is singing “Superstition” badly while doling chores and Beck (the talent scout) tries to sign Kyle to a recording contract. One of my favorites. Definitely worth watching. The whole cast brings something to the table with a lot of innovative talent.

The Kyle and Mikey beef is honestly one of my favorite recurring jokes
  • @BoomerangVillage
I think Kyle is just the inside joke between Lorne and his friends, where he hires someone really talented to be an SNL outcast and then cuts all their sketches to keep the bit running.
  • Kyle Mooney and Jake Gyllenhaal were hilarious. I loved the intentionally bad acting and awkward moments throughout the sketch.
