the complete book title is: "enemies in love: a german pow, a black nurse and an unlikely romance" author alexis clark. i have not read the book but i saw the author do an interview and there were a couple of points from the backstory that really intrigued me. not so much the love story but the other points hence the video. also the drew brees controversy with him stating how he would not be able to stand with any of his fellow nfl brothers who would not stand for the national anthem because of his families history of serving their country. how proud he was of this fact and he could not be silent and let others disrespect the flag of his/their country. well he has been told the error of his ways in that it had nothing to do with disrespecting the flag but something else entirely. but of course this book so clearly points out the "something else entirely" so brilliantly and so i finally had to do it.
