It was a Michael Jordan who un-retired from playing baseball at the end of the season to play ONLY 17 games. But Shaq and Penny eliminated a rusty Michael Jordan in 6 games in 1995, and then Michael Jordan came back the following year in 1996 to play a full season, and then Michael Jordan SWEPT Shaquille O’Neal, Penny Hardaway, Nick Anderson, Horace Grant, and the Orlando Magic 4-0. If Michael Jordan wasn’t in the NBA in the 1990s, Shaq would have been a bigger star, but Michael Jordan’s star overshadowed Shaq’s star, both Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon made sure that Shaquille O’Neal didn’t win even ONE NBA World Championship in the 1990s. It wasn’t until Michael Jordan retired the 2nd and FINAL time from THE CHICAGO BULLS, that Shaquille O’Neal was able to finally win his 1st NBA World Championship…..using Michael Jordan’s old coach, Phil Jackson. 🤷‍♂️ 😅
