How could Jesus' Apostles deny him while he was nailed to the cross yet spend the rest of their life dedicated to spreading The Gospel and the ultimate Truth of Jesus Christ, all the while facing severe persecution and awful living conditions only to face a martyr's death.
How is accepting "everlasting" or "eternal" life not how you win the game we're born in to?
Spoiler alert: IT'S FREE TOO! Anyone who tells you differently, that you have to change a certain way, or do this or that, is believing a lie.
Yes, as Christians we are called to a live a meaningful and certain way. But the #1 responsibility on our shoulders is just to believe on the Son aka Lord Jesus Christ. He died for all of us, and that includes you, so we could rise with Him! Learn it, feel it, know it and accept what He has done and put your Faith on Him and that His work is finished!
The way I see it, we're born into Satan's looney bin and one way or another we have to find our way to Jesus Christ. It took me over 10 years of really digging for Truth, looking in all the wrong places. But, thankfully God answered me and showed me the ultimate Truth.
