TRIGGER WARNING: The following video contains scenes that may cause horrible pain for Maple Leafs fans and/or vicarious joy for division rivals.

I've been waiting for the right time to work on this vid. Now is finally the time. Come and witness over fifty years of failure, greed, strife, and ineptitude in all aspects of the team. Do I try to make a long explanation here? Of course not. The answer is to get right into it.

I can only hope I did this justice.

And 4 years later, this documentary is still relevant today. Welcome to the biggest ̶j̶o̶k̶e̶ choke of all professional sports

3 things are inevitable: death taxes the leafs choking early in the playoffs

The Maple Leafs: a team so laughably bad, not even Mike Myers could make good in the Love Guru.
  • Who's here after the leafs lost yet another game 7 at TD garden?
  • @McDouggal
20 minutes in: "Huh, this is taking a while, we're only in the early 2000s, how long is - it's not even half done. Oh boy."

I can’t wait to marvel my eyes at UrinatingTree’s finest work.
  • Congratulations Maple Leafs! YOU MADE IT TO THE SECOND ROUND FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2004!

57 years of failure and counting with no end in sight. David Pasternak serves you a loss on a trey of spaghetti. Your history of being smacked by Boston continues.

Hurricane Man's role here might have been small, but it deserves an Oscar.

Really like the Steve Dangle addition at the 42 year old Zamboni driver part

Who’s back here after they lost to the Lightning in 2022, thereby giving the Leafs sole possession of the longest active drought of playoff series wins?
  • @TCHC85
Toronto. The only city in North America where the leafs fall in the spring.
  • @barbarian92
Hey fun fact: the defunct Thrashers have made it to the second round as many times as the Leafs have since 2004!

Harold Ballard died on the same day I was born. Finally this team gave me something to be happy about

The Maple Leafs have fulfilled the Groundhog Day prophecy once again.
  • 2024: "You're determined to show that last year was not a fluke and you have a chance to do it against the choking hazard that is your old nemesis in Boston." Game 1: Okay that was a painful start, just walk it off there are plenty of games left to play. Game 2: That's better, try to keep it up. Game 3: Or get beaten. Game 4: Make that go flaccid. Whelp season's over. Game 5: And like that you've... won? Is Boston choking? Game 6: They are, they had you on the ropes and now they're choking like only they can. Game 7: Oh dear, it's in BOSTON! But unlike in previous years, you're not the ones choking. Now go forth and slay that demon. Uh is anyone going to score? YES! You've done it you've scored and the way things are going you'll... let in a goal. That's not good. And just like that, Boston defeats you. How? They were in full-on choke mode! The only thing you've done in the last two decades is winning a playoff series against a team dying of old age and then got slapped down to earth by their angry cousin. And now when you have the chance to prove that every stereotype about you is wrong you can't get it done. Your season is over and all you've done is bloat the arrogance of Boston. Again.
