  • From the thumbnail thought it was another Kenneth Branagh Poirot lol

A perfect book for a pandemic, showing that we can be resigned or resilient. I am so glad it has become a mini-series.

Last week MK said “The more fun they have making it, the less fun we have watching it.” This week he enjoyed watching it because he enjoyed watching how much fun EM had making it. 😊

A Gentleman in Moscow appears to be one of the best reviewed shows atm alongside Shogun, Tokyo Vice, We Were the Lucky Ones, X-Men '97 & Invincible.

I finished the series this week and found it to absolutely magnificent.

Thank you Gents... I will give that a go. On the streaming planforms Disney+ Shogun as to be the standout. I am old enough to just about remember the Richard Chamberlain version and the Disney+ version is magnificent so far. My wife was to ignore screens to watch the subtitles... this feels like a master class in story telling.

Mark, we want to see you review ROADHOUSE.
  • Why does Ewan McGegor's character look exactly like Po, the AI hotel character from Altered Carbon?? And I mean the spitting image of him to the point I thought this was a spin off of that character 😂
  • @MercuryCircuit
I wouldn't pay to watch it, but a big Ewan McGregor fan. If it goes free will definetely watch it.
  • Dame Camill Parker Ball recommended this to me, and others. Ewan Gregor good

"gentleman in Moscow" certainly sounds like it was based on the true story of the English family that spent many years in a Chinese hotel.

Wish Kenneth Branagh had played the leading role. He has the Russian vibe.
