Corrections: 14. Faroes became a self governing part of Denmark in 1948 not 1848. 24: the longest bridge is 220 meters long, hardly one of the longest in the world. 26: øl is just beer. A Heineken is a øl 31. Faroes were a part of Norway from 1035. Norway (and Faroes) became part of a joined kingdom with Denmark in 1380, and remained with Denmark after Denmark lost Norway to sweden in 1815 41: skyr is Icelandic But thanks for the interest in my country👍

I just visited on the second flight from NY to Vágar. I hope the Faroe Islands maintains what is presently is and not overly develop. The Faroese have a beautiful country and culture already

A few corrections: - Grass roofs are not mowed with sheep. They are either left to grow or mowed by people. - Tórshavn is nowhere near the smallest capital in the world. - I am not a linguist, but I am pretty sure Faroese isn't a tonal language. - Øl is literally just beer. It is not a "home brewed ale", or whatever was said. Also, why show someone pouring from wine bottles in this shot?! - Skyr is an Icelandic yogurt, not Faroese. I appreciate the effort you put into the video, but maybe you should have put a little more effort into double checking the facts ;) Most of these things are easily found out on Google or Wikipedia. Otherwise, like the video :)
  • And let's hope it maintains it's uniqueness and individuality, and retains it's culture, being full of mostly local people!
  • Apart from Dr. Who landing, I’m trying to think of another reason for an antique, UK police phone box suddenly appearing at 2.13.
  • You may find that the Vatican City as a capital city is a tad smaller
