Built this with my son, and we had the loop problem. I spent an hour tonight tweaking multiple connection points. I also suggested stopping the movement under the loop… we couldn’t get it with my modifications, but I said to him “I’ll look at YouTube because I bet others have had the exact same problem”….. low and behold… thank you so much. I will try these mods tomorrow morning!
  • I have devised a "Third (3)" solution fix to the loop issue. Let me know if you want me to upload an updated video. 😊

K'nex coaster cars in general have a problem of losing their lubrication over time. Any k'nex micro coaster will do that after a certain time. The fixes you show will probably give it one or two months of more life than same problems will occur again. I would recommend lubricating the really small steel rods that hold the wheels of the train with something like W-D 400 regularly like one time per every two weeks in order to optimise the time you can use the car. Hope that will help :)

When I watch your video at 1:57 when the car is in the first spiral I hear a click. This might be a slight interference. It could be an imperfection in the molding process.

The best way to build a Knex coaster is to build on a wide flat board. The base may be fastened down with wire staples. Wire staples fit over the micro Knex rods. I use small staples made for telephone wire. Infinite Voyage is a kit that hops around due to the launch. Stapling the base makes it work much better. And it is easier to move to free the workspace. Peace
  • People not realizing they made it on purpose this way, read the manual and at the back it gives you ideas to get around the loop. Its an experiment for kids to figure out
