Might be a bit of a hot take, but I liked his attack more in GU because of how slow it was. You could really tell how far away he was, and had enough time to think "Oh shit" when he started coming down lol

I started playing the MH series with mh:world and after enjoying that game so much I searched up all of the fights that weren't featured in that game. Seeing valstrax and specifically this attack from the older games I was so excited to see him come into MHR, I'm not sure if I'm just lucky or what, but in my time playing the game i've quite literally only seen him do this attack once, and that was only recently, I thought they removed it from the game... very confusing, idk if i just killed him fast with my duo or just super unlucky on the rng side
