The good old days : Lil Wayne, Akon,Tpain, Soulja boy, kanye, Rihanna etc... Sometimes we never realize how lucky we were to grow up in the 2000s. Like we literally have classics that we can go back to listen to and have that nostalgic feeling . Which today’s kids will never experience all these wacky rappers literally sound the same 😥

Tears of nostalgia. This song takes me back to high school. 2008 was Wayne's year for sure. He had the best rap album of that year (Carter 3) and song after song on that album charted high on the billboard charts. No one in hip hop was as active was Wayne was from 2007-2010. The guy was getting radio play for days and worked with pretty much every rapper during that time period. You'd have to be alive during that era to know special it was.

I feel like people still don’t appreciate how massive Lil Wayne was from 2008-2011. This man sold a million a week in the middle of one of the worst recessions the US has ever seen, put out an ungodly body of work in such a short period of time, revolutionized mixtapes, and almost sold a million in a week AGAIN in 2011 with Tha Carter IV. No one can touch prime Weezy.
  • Still get chills when i hear Wayne's voice .. being a fan since day one .. aint nobody gonna replace him for sure😍👏💜
  • No song can be compared to this in today's industry. Absolute banger 🔥🔥🔥

This generation whatever they are gen x will never know how BIG lil Wayne was when he hit it's like he brought hurricane Katrina with him even before it hit like damn. I still remember when this song hit it was EVERY WHERE in the clubs blasting in the cars (at the time I lived in Greensboro NC)
