“When a potential customer finds out that we are a union company, it changes the game…they know what they’re getting. They know the safety procedures, the training – they’re going to get good-quality workers,” says Brandon Jackson, Vice President of TriStar Elevator , a full-service elevator company that provides installation, service, modernization, and repair to conveyance systems throughout the central Tennessee area.

ElevatorInfo recently traveled to Nashville to speak with Brandon and company owner Stacey Jackson to visit some of their jobsites including one at a major airport, another at a busy parking garage, and a third at a bar under construction in the heart of Nashville’s music district. We talked with them about launching their successful new company as a family business and the reasons why being an International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC)-affiliated company makes sense for them.
