All the film buffs out there make sure that afi shows these specials on tv. We need more inspiration for these films.
  • Thanks for uploading the entire thing, which you cannot find anywhere. Loved the intro.
  • My hero. I searched so long for this awhile back and was bummed that it was nowhere that I could find. I decided to see if anything changed and boom you uploaded this in the past few months.
  • I hope they do a 25th anniversary show in either 2022 or 2023. And add other Classics to the list. ( The Good, The Bad, and the ugly, Once Upon A Time In America, The Shining, Pinocchio, John Carpenter's The Thing) As well as some newer films. (The Dark Knight, No Country For Old Men, There Will Be Blood, Mad Max Fury Road, Moonlight, Get Out)

Batman Begins 8.) Who Framed Roger Rabbit 9.) Chariots of Fire 10.) Beauty and the Beast 11.) The Green Mile 12.) Gladiator 13.) The Passion of the Christ 15.) Avatar 16.) Toy Story 3 17.) COCO 18.) Momento 19.) Spider-Man: No Way Home 20. Frankenstein 1930.
  • The top two was obvious since both Godfather & Citizen Kane were regarded as the greatesg movies ever made and always stayed in the top 3 greatest movies list from other critics such as WatchMojo, AFI and many more. Titanic was the best romance movie for me since it was a perfect example of true love, I would out it in no.3 of the best movies of all time.
  • Missing A Fiddler On the Roof, The Usual Suspects, Cool Hand Luke, Being There, When Harry Met Sally
  • Morgan Freeman is in two of the Top 10 movies ever in my opinion. (Unforgiven, Shawshank Redemption)

The intro song fit the movie clips so perfectly. A Ticket To Dream.
  • @MainEventPoint
Almost Famous needs to be on here...also the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy should be honored...it's one big movie...in 3 parts. And Star Wars at #13 is TOO LOW
  • @markkodama6910
Missing from this list are Young Frankenstein, Cool Hand Luke, Almost Famous and Moneyball.

Will the AFI ever update this list? It's been 15 years. Curious if films like The Dark Knight, Brokeback Mountain, There Will Be Blood and No Country For Old Men would make the cut.
  • @ryan49er1
Obviously this list is generational and newer ones should knock off some on the list.....But cool to see none the less.
  • OF MICE AND MEN AND THE FIGHTING SULLIVANS SHOULD BE IN THE TOP 10.....
