This is one of the reasons why the annual congressional baseball game is also appointment viewing. Seeing regular people play baseball makes you appreciate that much more how difficult the game is to play with all the missed fly balls and booted grounders lol

I became a mariners fan just after felix retired. One of my regrets was never seeing him pitch. But being at this game, seeing him pitch AND hit a homerun... I'm immensely grateful that I got this close to the real thing.

Not even a Mariners fan in the slightest. But seeing Boone hit a lead off homer in a Seattle uniform in 2023 is pretty cool. Even if it’s celeb softball lol
