The most bizarre and funny part of this video wasn't any of the items he bought, it was the fact that he had never heard of a garlic press and was tricked into buying one for twice as much as they usually cost

I love how they're trying to rebrand a garlic press, that's existed for like 70 years as a designed and patented idea. But as an instrument is a very simple lever press which is an ~18th century invention.

I once saw a very similar style ad to the Alan Jackson one claiming a teacher had invented the best air conditioner ever that Big Air Conditioner didn't want you know about. Problem is, I instantly recognized the teacher in the ad as a YouTuber I regularly watch who is a teacher but did not invent anything. I sent him screenshots and he replied thanking me because the ad maker had straight up stolen clips from his videos! I've since seen other similarly styled ads and wondered how legit they are.
