It's a gorgeous 5-star hotel that emphasises the importance of sustainability and wildlife preservation. We got to meet the resident tortoises, rabbits, parrots and chickens that live on the premises. Here's our tour of the place.
Main reason we chose to stay along Karon Beach instead of the more touristy Patong Beach was that we wanted a more peaceful and less crowded beach, away from the hustle and bustle of the city-like environment. It was a worthy, relaxing experience!

It is also an SHA plus approved hotel.
Unlike other resorts, Thavorn is conveniently located in front of the Karon beach, just separated by the Patak road. The resort is also a walking distance to several Thai restaurants, coffee shops and grocery markets.

I always love your drone shots . Second I like how spacious the room looks like. Third that Eden rainforest place is cute the fresh flowers 💐. And your place for ice cream hehe 😋

I stayed there 4 or 5 years ago for 10 days. The gardens are fabulous, the rooms spacious comfortable and quiet. I started off in a basic room for a couple of days then moved to a very large top of the range room when my wife joined me. The staff were very helpful and obliging. Breakfasts were good, they also had a seafood BBQ or spread that was good but I did not enjoy their steak restaurant, the food was simply dreadful. I am sure they must of sorted it out. Location is good, opposite the beach, closer to Kata than Karon. I would recommend this resort.
