I find myself literally counting down the days to a new video by Christy because it's where I can finally find some peace 🀍

YES! Starting a new project to keep your mind off of submission is the best strategy! It was the only way I could distract myself while waiting for my book to sell. So excited for this new story!
  • @jesstheninth
I love the winter and autumn vibe in this video. Im in America so the summer has been awful, thanks for the reprieve from the heat!

As a theatre major, id completely recommend looking at the work of Le Coq, he was a frech physical theatre artist whose work has just the right level of creepy but beautiful
  • πŸ’šHi Christy! πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ§‘πŸ’›πŸ’šI'm Australian and I was very much involved in the circus community here in Oz for over a decade (before chronic illness & disability took me out). I was a teacher/trainer in both youth and adult circus, a bit of performance but I preferred teaching, involved in training spaces, conventions, festivals, going to & supporting friends gigs/shows, being part of crew at events, and involved when I lived in the UK and travelled in Europe. It's such a vibrant scene that beautifully explores human potential, creativity, ideas and collaboration, and I met some of my closest friends through this wonderful community. A couple of my favourite Aussie circus companies/troupes are 'Circa' and 'Gravity & Other Myths'. I'm looking forward to see what you do with this next project.

I just gotta, say I love all of your videos because they give me that push that I need to write, but these one's are my favorite. I absolutely love the cozy and productive feeling that your writing vlogs give off!☺
  • I love how you have everything beautifully put together, from the tone, the lighting, to musical score in the background.
  • I love starting my Sunday mornings slowly with your cozy vlogs! The Fall/Winter vibes almost make me forget the heat of Summer here... πŸ’› I really hope you get good news for Project Teacup. Looking forward to reading it one day. πŸ€žπŸ“– Have a good week!

  • You are such a breath of fresh air on the YouTube writing/reading community. I love your videos so much. They aren't clickbait-y, they're encouraging and inspiring! Much love from Chicago xoxo
  • @JeanetHenning
Not sure how plausible this idea is but while I was watching one of your "writing like" videos the other day, I couldn't help wondering if you could do something like that where you review the pros and cons of different world building methods. (the snowflake method etc) as you use them to flesh out your new novel. Regardless lovely video as always. They provide so much tranquillity.

Loved this. It was so helpful to see just how much planning, plotting and dreaming you do before you even start your novel. I’ve been contemplating writing a book for so long and finally just started this planning, plotting stage, but a recent course I attended made me panic that I’ve not thought of my central concept as I have a cool setting and characters but no central conflict at the moment and the course made me think perhaps I’m just not cut out for a novel length bit of writing! You’ve restored my faith!
  • @simonneliaa
So inspired by you and your transparency. It’s so helpful in my own novel writing practice, you’re like a professor!! Lots of love from New York. ❀

Hi! Some of the deficiencies you mentioned are also things that hydrate our bodies. Be sure to drink water with a tiny pinch of Himalayan sea salt in between tea pots. Dehydration also makes us feel tired, pain, achy, headaches, blurry vision, foggy, etc. Push electrolytes every day for a couple of weeks along with extra sleep. I recently went through a major health issue and was drinking huge amounts of water all day, and it further depleted the minerals and electrolytes in my body. Find a really good electrolyte powder (NOT Gatorade, actually a terrible electrolyte but better than nothing. I don't know what's available in Australia.) I can send links but the products are from the states. You want to look for calcium, magnesium, vitamins A, D, C, potassium. These are in proper electrolytes. Pink Himalayan sea salt will help until you can get something better. Good luck & I will pray for your good health. ❀ I love your cozy content. πŸ“š

This is so exciting! I've never been a big writer, but I've been so inspired in the last like, 6 months, to start writing something. And I'm currently in the planning/draft 1 stage of my first novel. And I feel that its so bad, but I'm enjoying writing so much!
  • @jmicheal2012
