Brand new DOUBLE black diamond trail in Phoenix!!

They just keep cranking out the amazing new trails at Hawes!! This is another brand new, hand cut trail named Sunset Ridge built by the local Hawes Trail Alliance members over the summer. It branches off of Red Mountain Rush which just got completed in the spring, and it's by far the gnarliest, toughest trail in the entire Phoenix area. Think - the waterfall on National type of features, over and over again. The trail builders were listening to our requests, and they delivered big time!

Fantastic scenery and some scary fun drop offs and rollovers... Not to mention all the off cambers and jagged rocks lol. Wow. Great footage and commentary. I'll will check it out.

Gonna ride this place when I'm there 1/27-1/30 for sure. Looks like a good one to add to my retirement activities, obviously designed for senior citizens like me (a 62 yo full-time mtb'er these days... 😎) 🤙

I'm new to this and picked up a 21 stump jumper a couple weeks a go and love it. Did twisted sister to big sister was a blast!!! I hear u say u love your forks what are they I would love to do some upgrades

What are some of the best NON XC loop type rides in the Phoenix area that are a must? I am going there next week. I don't mind some climbing for the good stuff, I just don't want it to not turn into an XC experience. Any specific suggestions (with this sick, gnar ride included) that give you the biggest bang for your buck? Thanks in advance!
