On March 14, 2024, Fire Commissioner Laura Kavanagh, the FDNY Foundation and members of the FDNY gathered at Ladder 8 to announce a partnership with Ghostbusters to promote Fire and Life safety at the iconic firehouse prominently featured in a new film in the Ghostbusters franchise.
