  • I’ll bet Sondra Lockhart felt pretty disgusted with Clint Eastwood when she found out he had two other children after he was so determined he didn’t want kids with her. I like him as an actor but his personal life was pretty bad.

In 1995, I worked as an extra on a made for tv movie, Death in Small Doses, in Charlotte NC, directed by Sondra Locke. Starring Richard Thomas. When it came time for lunch, she went through the chow line with the crew instead of having her food sent to her trailer. I thought that was pretty cool. I got the vibe that she was trying not not be a prima donna. Directing the movie, she was accompanied by an older gentleman. He would look through the camera. Then she would look through the camera, look at him, and when he nodded, she would give the OK sign. At one time, she stood next to me on set, and I was amazed at how small she was. That was my experience with Sondra Locke.

When Eastwood dies the firestorm of who get's what and how much will last for 20 years! Oh what a tangle web we weave.

Its unfortunate when people break up. I feel very blessed to love my wife after 40 years.

As outsiders we can appreciate him as an actor, director etc. As a human being, somewhat of a playa and non-caring of those he was involved with.

What Clint did to Sondra was horrible. In her autobiography, "The Good, the Bad and the Very Ugly," she describes how she got pregnant while with Clint. She was happy and wanted to keep the baby. However, Clint gave her a big song and dance about how they had such a great relationship, and how work was so great, that that's all they needed. He convinced her to get an abortion AND to have her tubes tied. Years later when their relationship came to an end, he did other horrible stuff to try to end her career. She sued him. It was during the lawsuit, while in court, that she learned he had met a stewardess while they were together. And had fathered two children with that stewardess! Just heartbreaking.
  • I spent a day with Sondra in 87, one of the sweetest people I ever met. Was so bummed about her passing.

I think all these women knew what they were getting into. Some cared, some didn't.

Don't have respect for man who sleeps around.I don't care if he's famous
  • Read Sondra's excellent autobiography. She would never have had an acting career without her best friend and husband, Gordon. One reason she didn't want to divorce him is because he would lose his medical insurance he got being her spouse. Clint was foolish to be jealous of him. It's not like Sondra and Gordon ever had sex, unlike Clint with dozens of women, none of whom were as strong and smart as Sondra, which is probably why he loved her. When Clint dies we will learn how many kids he had when they come for the reading of his will! Clint smeared Sondra in the press and the industry. When people met her they were amazed at what a kind, intelligent, down to earth woman she was. I met her several times, respected and liked her. She died too young.

?? WHY is this video filled with random photos of celebrities that have NOTHING to do with the story or the people being mentioned.
  • @SheriChase
I never liked Sandra Locke on screen. She has a low vibration, coldness, and unappealing. I never 'got' the relationship no matter what they said.
  • @laken1804
Sondra Locke loved him too much. He did not deserved that love and her devotion to him.
  • @rustykilt
As great an actor and director, he was personally flawed. It seems he had little respect for relationships which were essentially there to satisfy his own needs. The fact that Women wanted to have a relationship with him despite his wanderings says much about their own character.
  • That’s why you don’t look up to celebrities for anything other than their work.
  • @riogrande5761
I found it annoying that Locke showed up in so many Clint Eastwood movies. It detracted from the movies.
