The transition from Dung Defender singing about his loyalty to the king to broken vessels revealing how the king had left them to die hits really hard Like, imagine wholeheartedly trusting and serving a guy who's secretly committing mass infanticide as one of his plans

There was so many surprises during this, that halfway through Grimm I thought they were going just throw in Pure Vessel after Grimm.

Best part of the premiere was looking at chat during Dung Defender and seeing it completely full of DOMA!!!

I love how in the live chat of this video, by the time Sealed Vessel started to play, I was almost picturing the viewers singing the echoing voices like the fanbase itself tries to comfort the Hollow Knight at their final moments… AND THEN when we got Radiance, almost everyone went to “M O T H” Good lord I love this fandom.

The Hollow Knight Bytes were consistent in high quality. I'm actually blown away by the sheer amount of power all the VAs brought. Amazing stuff, and these covers will remain some of my absolute favourites! Also the chat blowing up at Ogrim and Zote was hilarious lol ...BUT WHERE GORB-

Though I love all this songs, I am sad that the Knight doesn't get to reply to the Radiance. The rise with all the siblings in the background was such a great opportunity for a void chorus to respond.

Man, that sealed vessel cover was superb, a shame that it seems like no radiance- THAT scene replays. RADIANCE THEME?!? Me: immobilized from sheer joy. Way to pull the rug from beneath us! Superb singer for the lamp goddess, just as regal and deadly as I expected! And the remastered songs are similarly amazing, thanks for giving us this collection of masterpieces!
