This is mostly me checking my kit and getting back into the swing of recording stuff in advance of my next wild camping adventure, hopefully next week.

That was a good first try afterall! I might try something of that kind myself too. I think the core of the omelette wasn't well cooked because of the shape, probably if you could flatten it a bit the heat should reach the inner part more easily. Then again if you trust your eggs it could be perfectly fine to eat it like that (I like runny fresh eggs in my carbonara for example). And think about using real French Fries instead of crisps! Gosh I'm salivating already...
