I don’t get how all lists can ignore a CHL 17 year old who scored 51 goals in 68 games in the first 2 rounds. Justin Poirier might be small, but definitely worth taking a risk on in the top 50 with that type of production at that age.

Therese in one thing I think is strange nobody talks about when making theire mock draft. Michael Brandsegg Nygård played on line with Mats zuccarello in the WCh. They had grate chemistry and of Michaels 4 goals Zuccarello assisted on 3 of them. So Minnesota taking him at 13 makes sense. They already have grate chemistry and know each other. Zuccarello to make the transition to USA and NHL much better for him with the support he can give him as an Norwegian himself.

I have a feeling like Stian Solberg may become the Moritz Seider of this draft. Both have similar skillsets and both played in a lesser scouted pro league. Both had a pretty good World championship too as 17 years old. I think he will be drafted way earlier than what people may expect like Seider was

Really hope Eiserman falls to #14 but probably not going to happen, would be just about as happy with Sennecke instead though.

Man, I have no idea why Tanner Howe isn’t regarded higher. Yeah, he rode on Bedard’s wing for 2 seasons, but putting over a PPG on THAT Regina team doesn’t deserve recognition? He’s gonna be an awesome Swiss-army knife forward, and once you put him on a real team, he’s gonna produce.

2 of my favorite prospects late in the first round: Jett Luchanko and EJ Emery. Nashville and Toronto are sitting at 22 and 23 where they could both be available, so I'd be very happy if they got one of them!

I love the Buiem respect. At the end of the day. The bread and butter of Hockey is moving the puck scoring and making plays. Buiem is in my opinion the best puck moving defenseman while having Hutson type skating. I think not Parekh, but he will be the steal. Not Eiserman either. I project him to come into the NHL flying winning a calder and being compared to Cale Makar.

Agreed 100% on Buium being the best defenseman in the draft. Also, I think Stian Solberg is a bit too low. I’d have him in the 12-15 range.
