Following her ground-breaking feature film VISION in 2019, Veronique Sandler brings a fresh look at the sport in a brand-new series that takes a deep dive into MTB and her influences 4 years on from her first film.

In Episode 1 Vero and a crew of the hardest hitting women from around the world head to South Africa to take on the worlds biggest freeride jump line at Darkfest. Darkfest was the brain child of Sam Reynold’s and after seeing first-hand how the likes of Vero, Casey Brown, Robin Goomes and more took on Audi Nines, he knew he had to open the doors to Darkfest.
Episode 1 goes behind the scenes on what makes Darkfest such a unique event and how progression is fuelled by riding together and pushing each other as a community to be the best each person can possibly be. This VISION for riding is what has fuelled Vero’s own personal progression and inspires her to support the women’s freeride community around the world.

With Darkfest 2023 about to start in South Africa, rewind the clock to 2022 when the future of Freeride was changed forever and the world’s biggest jump line was tamed by a collective of ground-breaking riders from around the world.
Stay tuned for episode 2 releasing on adidas Five Ten’s YouTube in May as Vero explores how downhill racing helped shape the current landscape of the sport, taking a trip to Lenzerheide Switzerland and the home of one the most brutal world cup races on the planet.

So pumped to see the ladies getting the chance to show they can go just as big as the best of the men. Too long people have assumed they couldn't when really they just never had the support to do it. Keep pushing!

What a fine video and what a great character and an ambassador Vero is for the ladies, it's great to see the girls pushing limits and inspiring other girls to go do what they dream about. And what a crazy course!!! One thing I don't understand though, and this happens in a lot of these videos - why did the mix engineer find it a good idea for us, the consumers, to sit and run the volume control the whole way through the video ourselves.? Turn down the music, because it's way to loud, and turn up the volume whenever there's someone talking, because otherwise you can't hear ém.? I hope someday someone will sort out these minor details. Besides that, awesome work, to everyone involved! Thanks for all the hard work you put into riding, building, filming, editing and all the stuff that goes into doing what you do.
