With such a prolific output on Scott Aukerman’s Earwolf podcast “Comedy Bang! Bang!” (as of April 2020, 46 appearances and 21 characters), compiling the top ten Andy Daly guest appearances, based on volume of laughs, brilliance of improvisation or quirkiness of characterisation, is just too challenging.

Fortunately, working it out mathematically is easy, for (just like Lauren Lapkus    • The LAUREN LAPKUS Top 10 CHARACTERS -...  , Andy Daly has created exactly ten characters who’ve been on “Comedy Bang! Bang!” three times or more, perfect for an Andy Daly Top Ten, ranked by their number of visits, here in their debuts. This video features the top four most-frequently appearing Andy Daly characters.

As the episodes have been edited to highlight Andy Daly, much has been left on the cutting room floor. To make dipping in and out of this video easy, I have listed time code for each segment below. To keep it surprising, I haven’t listed WHICH characters you’ll hear when you click those links.

  • For a summer my brother and I shared a bed room and we would stay up so late listening to these early CBB days and would stay up even later repeating them and laughing ourselves to sleep. Just sent him links to a few of these. Cheers, to your efforts— judging by my amusement and others' comments, your work is greatly appreciated.

“Unless you put on pants, I’m writing you a ticket” “Buddy......I don’t have any pants”
  • Just want to say thank you BabyFaceBren for uploading this, and doing it so well. The concept is fantastic. The frequency works out perfectly for his characters to be in this order. The fact that you include timestamps without spoilers, and just put so much detail in the description is a nice touch that shows the care you took in making this. I love that you let the clips breathe, where we get all of what makes these debuts so great. I also personally appreciate the explanations about skipping plane breaks, so I know exactly what was happening with the skip forward in time. Also, all of the pictures used in the video were informative at the perfect time, without ever being distracting, and letting the audio medium speak for itself. There are probably other great things I am not even mentioning, but there were enough moments I had enjoying where I appreciated the specific things you did I had to make a comment just expressing my gratitude and how impressed I am by your work.

Hot dog is so positive until Scott reminds him that he's suicidal
  • The cavalcade of character suicides is, for my money, the greatest moment in CBB history. Very few things reach it's height.

andy daly is so unique and ridiculous. he makes everything he's in better just by being in it
  • Very cool of you bud to do these. If I see you I'm going to give a huge kiss.
  • @petkragh
Scott trying to convince Todd Glass to reveal something personal that he's secretly ashamed of is a little too real in hindsight lol

Love Andy the poet laureate of Comedy Bang Bang
