Yachty has been making waves behind the scenes as far as writing and producing for other artists. He’s also definitely influenced a new wave of artists trying to diversify themselves and their sound.

One aspect of Cole’s verse that appears to be hella underrated is the fact the he did all of that with the same rhyme scheme the whole way through. I shouldn’t have to explain how difficult that is. Please stop sleeping on this man’s pen.

I think Yachty’s talking about the influence of the SoundCloud wave and how he was a big part of it. A lot of people were eating off his sound and some still are.

Yatchy has definitely been influential throughout his career, from his own music to producing and helping others.

Cole's verse reminds me of Wayne's verse on Bloody Mary where from start to finish he stayed on the same rhyme scheme the whole time truly incredible writing.

I'M AN 80'S / 90'S HIP HOP HEAD, 45 YEARS OLD. I'VE BEEN GIVING THE NEW SCHOOL EARS, BECAUSE HONESTLY, THE SAME HAPPENED TO WHAT WE WERE LISTENING TO. SO I GIVE THEM A CHANCE. DON'T SLEEP ON YACHTY. HIS CADENCE IS DIFFERENT, BUT LYRICALLY HE HAS PROGRESSED. HE HAD SOME HITS AND MISSES IN THE BEGINNING, BUT AS OF LATELY HE'S BEEN SOLID. GIVE HIM A CHANCE AND UNDERSTAND HE'S CREATING HIS OWN LANE. HELL IF COLE IS F**** WITH HIM, IT SAYS A LOT. THE LIL BOAT SERIES ARE THE BETTER ALBUMS.
  • I absolutely adore beats like this. It reminds me of alchemist type beats. And I just heard the song in it's entirety today and I gotta say....yachty came along fairly well. This was a really great song overall though, and excellent review as always lol 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💪🏽

At 2:08 Ryan “ oh he was going in huh? George “ Going in what?” 😂😂
  • Actually enjoyed Yachty's flow on this one, had some nice little bars in there too. Cole been on another level for years though 🔥

When bro said “I cook so masterfully ain’t gotta pay a chef” he basically saying I’m so cold 🥶 at rapping still that I don’t need to pay a ghost writer ✍🏽😣

yachty was counted out from that 2016-2017 wave he was suppose to be washed but so much shit that’s known by few or known by all has kept him relevant and shows how good he really is. Wrote for people alot

I feel like I have to thank you guys for the breaking down of every single bar of the songs in this kinda reaction video. It helps a lot from ppl like me who is not completly aware of some pop culture and american references, so it helps a lot!

Yachty has made so many different waves in rap, with City Girls, his promotion and involvement with the Detroit scene, executively producing a Drake album, and now has dropped one of the most ingenuitive alt albums this year, along with all his singles making crazy waves he’s definitely gotten his hand in the pot of the culture.

"He facedtimed looking for a feature and saw the face of death" Is a line directed to NBA youngboy who recently dissed him on his song "F the industry p2" where he said "Jay a hoe,I called his line looking for a feature"
  • J. Cole's verse was like listeninh to calm waves after somebody was scraping nails on a chalk board.
  • @rauuuuuuuuuuuuul
We're ready for this one! Appreciate you guys for pulling through with this one before reacting to any of Lil Waynes album 🤝
