I plan to post videos discussing things over the last 20 years.
As well as thoughts on evidence, and all around stupid stuff I think of.

But for today, Lets discuss a few past controversies, and a recent one!.
Why don't we "Debunk" as much anymore?
What happened between "Jay and Grant"?.
Was Grants collar tug real, or was it staged?
What are my thoughts?
Did Grant leave Ghost Hunters on his own?
Or was he really pushed out, or fired?
Why was there a reboot of GH with only Grant?
Why isn't Grant involved with the show anymore?
Will Jason and Grant work together again?
Are "Jason and Grant" still friends?

So many question, Lets dive right in!

Thanks to @beardogetsscared for allowing his video to be used here for discussion purposes.

Hi Jason and community. As i said this video from me was made from a place of......ghost hunters taught me to question. Ghost hunters taught me to look harder. Jason and i habe had a few conversations and they have been respectful. Honest. And on occasion awkward lol. Jason has been a perfevt gentleman to me and i to him. Jason would if this was my footage, question it. Jason i appreciate the reaching out. Your candor and your openess to me. I actually look forward to further interactions with you whether we agree or not.

Without knowing the behind the scenes drama, just seeing that the two of you had separate shows but that you had Steve and Tango, I said to my wife, "He got the kids in the divorce."
  • @foxoutfoxing3106
Much respect, no shouting, slander or copyright strikes. Reminds me of when people used to be civil way back in the day.
  • @TheSideEyeGuy
It’s great to see two adults talking to each other with respect. Well said, Jason.

I’m a follower of Beardo. Thank you for this video. It proves you’re an honorable man.
  • @jackschwagger
Some of my favorite Halloween memories were staying up all night watching TAPS on the live investigations. I'd love to see them return one day!

With 1,000ish comments you may never see this. But Good sir, you handled this with great poise and grace . You are a class act Jason.
  • Jason great video. You showed true professionalism in this video and great honest analysis. I know Jason from my few appearances on Ghost Hunters. The live show at Waverly Hills and the first hunt at Fort Delaware. I spent a ton of time with Jay, more than any other member, during my days with the crew. Here’s what I can tell you about Jay and the crew, including the production company. I was an active member of Law Enforcement at the time, criminal fugitive investigator, in Philadelphia. I lived and still live to investigate the truth no matter what!! When I arrived on the sets this was no different. Here’s what I learned. 1. The Taps teams 100% believed in what they were doing. They didn’t seem to care about being on tv. They all truly loved to investigate. 2. They were all friends and didn’t seem to really be onboard with NBC wanting outsiders on the crew. But even with that they welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like a member. 3. They set up their own equipment and double, triple check to make sure everything is on the up and up. 4. They would do a security check to make sure no one was around to play games. 5. Season 4 episode 13 was our investigation at Pea Patch Island. When we caught things this is what happened -Jay & Grant saw a body in the tunnels. They immediately did a roll call check to make sure no one was screwing around. Everyone was in the holding area. If it was faked, which I don’t believe it was, they went above and beyond to pull it off. -The team gathered afterwards to come up with any explanation on what it could’ve been other than a ghost. There wasn’t any explanation. It was in a tunnel with 1 way in and out -The same thing happened when we heard a massive bang. We did a role call checks and gathered to discuss -There was an incident on the second day where the producer from the network started screaming saying he saw a black shadow run across the court yard. Everyone was together in the holding area and no one else saw it. The team did go investigate but no one really believed him and thought maybe he was seeing things because it was 4am. 6. The team takes all the equipment and keeps it for review. Only a couple of the members review it all. Now I was only on 3 episodes technically but I was able to really get to know the people involved and here’s my opinion. They are still the only legit ghost hunters in the business. They went above and beyond to make sense of anything they found. If there was any nonsense I’d say it was network related. Jay said one thing to me that has stood with me to this day. He said “I’ve been investigating 19 years before starting on tv and will investigate after tv”. Did they enjoy the perks of being famous? Of course we all would. However I dont believe it turned them into fake hunters we see all over today. They are the real deal and until they say otherwise I will always look to them for the truth in Ghost Hunting Mark Fusetti

As a TAP's fan from WAY back can I say thank you for many hours of enjoyment. thank you for being honest and giving your honest opinion of Beardo's de-bunking.

Attention all the other ghost hunting channels. THIS is a perfect example of how to answer criticism. Staying calm and respectful. Taking each point and either giving clear, concise explanations as to why you believe they are wrong or accepting that they have a point and being man enough to own up to a mistake or admit that a mistake may have been made if you can't say for sure either way. Apologising if you made a mistake or said something that has caused offence or been misunderstood because it could have been worded better. Reacting/responding a debunker in this way instead of having a fit, screaming, shouting, whinging and whining and throwing a temper tantrum in the debunkers comments with offensive and/or threatening messages gives you much more credibility and integrity. People are more likely to actually listen rather than dismissing you as behaving like an immature child which we see a lot of from certain channels and their fanbase. Reacting this way does Jason a lot of credit and will earn him respect on top of the credibility and integrity. Good job sir.
  • @JCARTSARTS982
Absolute CLASSY response video, much love and respect to you two guys and to the paranormal community as a whole.
  • Jason, I'm a member of the debunking community, I love this video. We can all disagree, be respectful and get along. Respect to you.
  • @lindsaycook1972
As a fan from the beginning, thank you for clearing up everything with Grant. The fans don't hate Grant at all. I wish you all well. I hope to see new GH episodes again soon!
  • Jason, your kid was attacked, you replied to defend her. Your reputation and integrity don't need defending. You and TAPS are a group of professionals. Love the show.
  • Jason, I have mad respect for you. Thank you for FINALLY addressing these questions we have all had for so long!! You handle everything so gracefully and I just will always consider you and TAPS the first, original, most awesome Ghost Hunting team in the world! You realize you're the OG? The Godfather! Everyone else followed in your footsteps! It's very hard finding a group of paranormal investigators on TV that don't literally make me roll my eyes into the back of my head with pure disgust! Searching for some decent, honest, TRUTH-seeking investigators becomes a nauseating plight at times... but not with you! Much Love & Respect! On to the Next...
  • @eazie2003
That hood pull is the only piece of evidence that I ever questioned on the show. I love that you did this video to0 Jason. Respect.
  • @kryyptyyk
Man, that episode where that "location" tried to doop you guys just broke my brain. I love how you guys all immediately jumped into "we're finding this fake crap" mode. Was great lol.
  • @lisalehman1935
Thats from the blue lady, the whole bar was rigged, the bar thought it was funny, it wasn't, it was a pain in the ass & expensive for the team, that pissed me off, that place sucked!!! I have watched you from the first show, Thank You, Your show convinced my husband to be a believer, We made an agreement, whoever pasted away first had to come back & let the other one know the afterlife is real, When he past, Sept. 2007, on my birthday that yr. in November my phone rang it was my husband, he said " I'm sorry I left you, I Love You" then it was static, I cried for days! I've always been a believer, out of every paranormal shows, I've always trusted you & the team, I still do, I've always believed in your integrity, the truth & how you guided your team I'll always be a fan, because of the above mention, Thank You Again I Appreciate What You Do🙂❤️🙏

Jason, I am glad you are open to discussing things this way. As a parent many of us understand that you are caught between a rock and a hard place. That being said, your daughter is still very young and prone to huge errors of judgment. Personally, I find the worst part of this situation to be the huge quantity of very young kids in Sam&Colby's audience who are affected by their Conjuring videos featuring your daughter and Cody. There are kids under ten who have lost (and are suffering tremendous grief over)a parent or sibling passing away. They expressed their deep sadness over not being able to meet your daughter and Cody to contact their loved ones. That is profoundly unethical. Of course no one should threaten anyone's life or engage in slurs- we have seen enough of that on our national stage, but in turn people should put honesty in the world as much as possible. I think you should probably get in touch with Sam and Colby as well- they too need to rectify the situation.
