  • I think the fool also represents freedom, lack of material goods...and even irresponsibility. It may represents someone too, no just an action, but the characteristics of an individual.

“Anxiety is a mistrust in life”…wow…very well put and definitely sparked something in me - thank you 🙏

The Foolish One He was a man of great intellect, but little common sense. He stumbled through life, making one foolish decision after another, much to the amusement of those around him. Despite his many mistakes, he remained optimistic and good-natured, always believing that tomorrow would be a better day. As he grew older, his foolishness only seemed to increase. He would often find himself in ridiculous situations, such as getting lost in his own neighborhood or accidentally setting his clothes on fire. But still, he persisted, never giving up on his dreams or losing faith in himself. One day, he met a woman who saw past his foolishness and loved him for who he was. Together, they embarked on a journey of self-discovery, learning to navigate the world and make better decisions. Despite his many flaws, the Foolish One taught those around him an important lesson: that it's never too late to change and grow, and that even the most foolish among us has the potential to become wise.

I just bought a Tarot deck. I know nothing of this. I shuffled the deck many times and said to myself I will draw one card and see what the meaning is. I drew the fool. About six years ago I asked God when will this cup of misery be full. Not expecting an answer, I immediately heard, "This is where the Soul learns from the physical but the physical is dying from birth."This was the begining of a Spiritual journey for me where I was shown I'm a Soul having a human experience. This freed me from religion and the comfort zones I made in fear. Quite amazing to me. My journey has shown me many insights, probably the most important was when I was told, "If you want to see the progress of your journey in the realignment to the frequency of unconditional Love see how far you have moved into the consciousness of your Soul, not how far you have to go. The braiding of frequency with unconditional Love, or Soul consciousness will cause a perception shift to an awareness way beyond the comfort zones we made in fear.
  • Gave up my job last month (telesales) to become independent film director, writer and artist with no money, no backing and I'm in my mid 50s. The Fool came up last night as the present. After the initial panic attack, I feel a lot about it now, thank you.

I am the fool energy and I can see where I have also been the foolish energy. Thank you for the way you help me to relate to the card and it’s themes and symbols.

I used to be so foolish haha so innocent. I used to be a escort and always met my clients in hotels or places of the agency. Once, a client looked so gentle, kind, lovely, and said it was a lot of money and couldnt pay a hotel as well, and was more confortable at home (his home) my intuition told me "mmm.. weird that he hire a escort without having enough money" but I said well Brenda he is so kind, I trusted. When we arrived he locked the door and kept the keys.. at that moment I said "my intuition was right. So, I pretended to be okay and as I didnt realized of the situation. He started to be ruder, he told me that some friends were coming, I was asking things and he ignored me at all. Then he received a call, got mad and got out to the garden. I realized what key he used, and where he saved them but couldnt act, then I went to.the bathroom and I couldnt believe there was a window with no bars that lead to the street. Omg I jumped out (my luck that it was a one floor house, and my guide, angels or Idk hahah) and I run and run, of course left my heels and purse there. I always relate the fool "bad side" with that experience. Sorry for my english 😂❤️

there’s a saying in my tongue that “the fool always gets lucky”, and i think there’s a solid reasoning behind it

When I pull the Fool in readings, my mind automatically thinks of big changes, big risks but big adventures too. It was refreshing to hear you talk about the "mini' risks, "mini" adventures and so on. I will incorporate that into my future readings. Thanks for this series, I have a feeling I will learn a lot from you!

Optimism and risk-taking are great key words for the fool. I love how you contrasted it to anxiety
  • @Vivianne1124
I swear, your videos are the best online. They explain things so succinctly, and in such a clear and deep way. Also the way you ask these questions, is really the way it would have been asked to a client. I cannot thank you enough.

Have a rider tarot deck in my bookshelf for thirty years now. Bought it and took it out now because the symbolism interests me. You putting questions to every card is a great way of explaining about them and let us make a connection with them. No esoteric nonsense but questions that can help us to understand and reflect about ourselfs by means of the cards. Your videos are fantastic! Thanks a lot and greetings, Carsten PS.: You made The Fool one of my favourite cards in the deck.
  • I am not technically a beginner, but your videos bring fresh insight. I like how you mention anxiety and how we need to really trust and know that there's a purpose for everything, and have a general knowing that we aren't just physical bodies.
  • I have been sick with anxiety over my driving test tomorrow, and last night asked to pull a card I needed to see, and The Fool flew out of the desk almost immediately. It felt so beautiful I kept it out of the desk and put it on my bedside table. This morning, wracked with anxiety again I used a tarot generator online and asked the same question, and once again, the Fool came out. I am not a risk taker, have pretty severe anxiety as a result of trauma, and have found myself stuck in life because of my fear of change and risk, and getting my license has been this looming thing I've been scared of, but know it will unlock a new stage of my life. Thanks so much for this video, I needed to hear these words at this moment <3
  • I sort of feel like the Fools dog lol warning the Fool about the dangers ahead and feeling anxious, alert and keeping an eye on the Fool who leads with optimiam but the dog has instincts of protection, loyalty and caution however still willing to follow where the Fool leads
  • Only found you today! What a helpful way for me to learn about the Tarot. I've got my deck, pen and notebook ready to absorb your information. Thank you so much for making this series and explaining the cards so fully!

So thrilled about this new series. I really appreciate the explanation of the fool, a card I find a little peculiar. Your explanation is so helpful and makes this card feel less precarious. Thanks for the deep dive, Kate! :)
  • I also quit my boring office job at about 23. lol I did it to go back to France a second time and live there. It didn't last as long as I wanted and sometimes I look back at it with regret, but I'm trying to see it in a new light. Thanks for this in depth explanation!
