"WOW" excellent video very interesting.
  • A bridge doesn’t contain a galley 😂😂👀 Should say lower is the accom and galley plus other things needed for the ships working operation

Your vids seem very archaic, like they were made 20 years ago (when people had an attention span of more than 5 mins)

Crews have to deal with long hours and doing some heavy work, but they have plenty of space to move around, work out, decent food, etc.... It's easy for the cooks to deal with such a small number of people. Then you have something like a destroyer which depending on how modern the equipment is you could have up to about 250 people. I retired from the US Navy and spent 9 years on ships. It's not very fun. on any ship I was on the regular crew slept in racks where the stack was always 3 high, bottom, middle and top bunk. Junior people typically end up on top racks and more senior people on bottom or middle racks depending on what they like, with most taking the middle. The officers on the other hand have rooms with typically 2 to a room. I'm guessing on a ship like this the typical worker shares a room with another person and the officers have their own rooms.
  • Pretty sure that the bridge only refers to the command center, ie the pilot house/navigation/comms. Not the large super structure as a whole.

I asked chatgpt how many tanker truck can be filled with the oil from the supertanker A typical tanker truck used for fuel transport can carry around 30,000 to 35,000 liters of fuel. In contrast, a supertanker ship can carry millions of liters of oil, typically ranging from 300,000 to 2 million liters per tanker, depending on its size and capacity. Assuming an average supertanker capacity of 1.5 million liters and a tanker truck capacity of 32,500 liters, you could fill approximately 46 tanker trucks with the oil from a single supertanker shipment. Keep in mind that these are rough estimates, and actual capacities can vary based on specific tanker models and ship sizes.
