How to Recover a Suspended (Terminated) YouTube Channel

It's amazing the YouTube does not even respect its users enough to give them a warning first or even to specify what the user did that was flagged. It can't be that difficult to include in their suspension email the reason for the suspension. Thanks for posting this video.

YouTube terminated my channel and I did not get any emails...

We should have the right to save our own playlists, etc before they disengage accounts without notice or reason. Class action lawsuit might straighten out their prejudiced moderators. I had mine deleted because I didn't care for their political choice for president.

bro I had 90 subs and didn’t get no email just woke up this morning found my account gone I’m so mad I worked so hard.

I was devastated when i found out my yt channel are gone 😭. I've neither made any vid to be viewed in public nor do I want any subscribers as I only create that channel in order to make my interview vids. Without any backup, now all my vid of my interviews are gone including my task video for this sem.😢. Seriously I cried my eyes out that night. Just a passing comment cause I don't know who I can to talk to about this. ☹️

My 8 year old channel got suspended today. Leaving so much vulgar Content as it is on YouTube they shut down the channel for title violations. Wow

I remember I was pretty much in the same position as you, I remember when my account (this one that I'm leaving this comment on with) was terminated for three strikes of copyright infringement back in August 12, 2014 and it took me 2 years to get this account back, I'd had to go through a lot of stuff and contacted a bunch of emails to the company that filed the DMCA on one of my videos and ask them to retract their DMCA they made so I can have below three copyright strikes to get my channel back, then after two years I finally found the right email address of the company, then on October 7, 2016 my channel was finally reinstated (thank the lord), but congratulations that you got your account back, you didn't have to go through much like I did!

i got my other channel suspended. I got no email, no notification, nothing. I had no strikes before. I can't figure it out. Furthermore, I have multiple channels, and all the other ones are still live

The other day I woke up to find that my 237 subscriber channel got taken down and I was really mad because me and my friends formed many memories from it and I never backed up my videos so I was really sad to know that all the fun times I documented with my friends are gone forever :(

this has just happened to my 33 year old son who has had learning difficulties his whole life and is a special needs he formed a utube channel for about a month had almost 5000 subs was something he was really good at after trying to overcome reading and spelling issues along with many other issues then yesturday got the same message as you and doesnt understand why That Master Chief Guy

My main channel got taken down yesterday just because it was associated and had the same email as another one of my channels that recently got terminated for apparent copyright violation

Terminated last month with 100,000+ Subscribers, Did not break any Terms Of Service and had 0 strikes, All my appeals have been rejected and I've been silenced by the platform. Ignored on Twitter and Reddit, Is their a possibility that my account has been accidentally terminated forever and there is no hope in trying to get it back? This is incredibly infuriating.

Start a boycott youtube channel for youtube impeding the rights of "some" subscribers but not "all." That's breaking their own rules and regulations, predjudice!

Being banned for a comment! I think there should be a warning to enable a change of attitude as losing ones community is like death. Not having been sent an email makes it seem like this was simply personal and someone just did not like me and hit the delete button before they went for a cup of tea. Youtube does not understand that a person can change in order to progress. I thought that was part of the reason we are here, to create a better world through pulling each other up regardless.
