Its a new era in the NBA. None of the three biggest stars in the league: Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and LeBron James, will make the second round of the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2005. Its been nearly 20 years since one of these three didn't make the second round. With the majority of the remaining teams being led by up and coming stars like Luka Doncic, Tyrese Haliburton, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jayson Tatum, and Anthony Edwards... It truly is the end of an era.

If I were to say one quote to sum up the playoffs so far it’d be: “The future is now, old man”

I love the fact that all these small market teams have amazing young talent. I actually think the NBA has never looked healthier. OKC, Minnesota, the Pacers all relevant with great squads, the Knicks are relevant again, add Boston, Denver, the 76'ers, I personally have never seen the talent pool spread so evenly right across the NBA. Its so good

  • Dear Milwaukee fans, I wonder how it must feel to trade 3 1st round picks for a past his prime point guard to compliment your other 2 All-stars only to have those two best players out with injuries just when the playoffs come around. I would hate for people to start to slander your team for the turmoil that surrounds the team on and off the court. I can only imagine if people were to start discrediting the championship your star player Giannis just because he had bad injury luck ever since. I wish I could somehow understand what y'all must be feeling right now. Sincerely, A former Nets fan

This postseason really does feel like a changing of the guard. A lot of people are knocking the older players/teams for losing to the younger guns, but it was bound to happen at some point. That's just the natural flow of generations: when one dies out or starts to die out, the next one takes over. The new generation of the NBA has been in place for the last several years now. It seems like this postseason has been their coming out party so far. It's amazing to see.

Another masterpiece guys! Also thanks for helping me feel a lil less crazy as I commented on 1 vid and the guy said Bradley Beal's No Trade Clause wasn't relevant in trade talks. Well you guys highlighted that along with his salary/lack luster production as to why Suns are in an interesting spot👍

The slow, crushing realisation that cp3, russ, harden, and pg will all retire ringless is actually gonna kill me
