Two weeks ago, a Belgian internet celebrity asked me about the details of how to trip in Taiwan, I directly shared your video with him! I will do this when someone asks me relevant questions in the future. I think the Taiwan Tourism Bureau can ask you to be Taiwan’s tourism ambassador! I have successfully crossed that very narrow cave before. I think most Taiwanese people at that time could successfully cross without bringing anything with them. However, considering Alan’s height and carrying a backpack, I really don’t recommend that you go in to challenge! I also think that rock looks like a frog, support Alan! Brandi is very considerate in reminding everyone to be careful when taking photos on the road! Super great video, love you both, thank you very much for sharing! 👍🥰🙏 P.S. 1. That performance is 歌仔戲/ Taiwanese opera. Taiwanese opera (kua-á-hì) is a traditional folk opera that originated in Yilan, Taiwan in the early 20th century. It is also a representative performing art. Taiwanese opera is performed in the Taiwanese language, and its contents are mostly familiar stories of loyalty, filial piety, and justice. It was an important entertainment activity in Taiwan's early agricultural society. It was loved by Taiwanese people and became Taiwan's main folk opera. 2. That snack is 麻花捲/ Twist roll/Hemp Flower, Twist roll (Máhuā juǎn) is a traditional snack in Xiao Liuqiu. It is made by mixing flour, sugar and salt, and kneading into a shape of twist roll. After deep frying, it is coated with powdered sugar. It is very popular with tourists. Xiao Liuqiu is outlying island. In the early days, the supplies were not abundant. Most of the local residents made a living by fishing. Hemp Flowers are made for the relatives who went sea fishing as snacks. It is convenient to carry and store at sea.

35:48 Taiwanese opera (Chinese: 歌仔戲; pinyin: gēzǎixì; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: koa-á-hì; lit. 'Song Drama') commonly known as Ke-Tse opera or Hokkien opera, is a form of traditional drama originating in Taiwan.Taiwanese opera uses a stylised combination of both the literary and colloquial registers of Taiwanese Hokkien. Its earliest form adopted elements of folk songs from Zhangzhou, Fujian, China. The plots are traditionally drawn from folk tales of the southern Fujian region, though in recent years stories are increasingly set in Taiwan itself. Taiwanese opera was later exported to other Hokkien-speaking areas, such as Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Fujian, China.

May have been mentioned, but I think the yellow jelly in the shaved ice dessert was Aiyu. Which is a jelly made from a native fig fruit to Taiwan. Not much taste, but adds a fun texture to desserts or drinks. Good videos, always fun to watch what visitors like about Taiwan.

If you want to watch the sunrise, sunset and starry sky in the same place, I think Orchid Island in Taiwan is a good choice.
  • @DiguaJo
That Taiwan Opera usually is performed to show the appreciations to the Gods in the templates. People give thanks for getting blessed all way through! And yes, you are correct that plots are usually about the miracles about those Gods. Nice video again!

期待已久 Finally waiting for you 😊 在台灣每年7-9月是百香果的產季 ,那時可以吃到便宜又新鮮的百香果。製作成酸酸甜甜香味四溢的冰製品是夏季最棒的消暑聖品。

What a nice video and what a nice island. We have unfortunately only 5 days in the south of Taiwan and we thought spending it on this island. However you're video showed that its not quite ideal for having a beach vacation so we decided to go further south to Kenting. I we come again to Taiwan and have more time we surly explore that exciting jungle+beach contrast. Thanks for sharing!

I like to go to free diving in Liuqiu. That’s a lot stunning view under the ocean, sea turtles, boat wreckage, or just enjoy the moment.

    小琉球島上有環島公車可以坐 不需要步行😊 小琉球景點只要買一張票 就可以進去三個景點 不需要重複買票的。

Welcome to Pingtung County. Xiaoliuqiu is no longer the urban area of Kaohsiung. Usually the transportation in rural areas is not very good. Take "Taiwan Haoxing Bus 9127D" to and from the high-speed rail Zuoying Station and the pier.
